Implant with fibrosis

Postby Asdia1234 » Thu Jun 08, 2023 5:09 am

Hi,

Im 27 years old. My question os is it possible to get am implant with fibrosis in my left corpus cavernosum. MRI showed a 2,8cm x 0,7cm tissue which potentially is fibrosis. Now my first symptoms started little bit more than 2 months ago. Erections were excelent for the first 5-6 weeks. But then it started to deteriorate very quickly. Now i cant reach a 100% erection even with tadalafil. And the erections i can achive are fade away in seconds. Its very depressing first i thought it was only peyronies because of the semi erect curve but it seems its much worse. So any of you had similar diagnosis and was able to get an implant which works perfectly fine? Thank you in advance.

I've read of several men with fibrosis. Finding the right dr is important. They use special tools to cut through the tissue to make a path for the cylinders.
What country are you in?
During your talks with drs. Be sure to ask if they can put an implant through fibrosis tissue. There is a chance that not all drs have this training.

I read several on here that had the same and still got implants. There are some vids on youtube showing the procedure with fibrosis.

My feelings are people with scaring issues have a harder recovery, be prepared just in case. Good luck, you will love it after a couple months.

Your odds of getting an implant are very good. I had a severe case of Peyronie's, with a 60-degree+ curve, a plaque mass covering 2/3 of the dorsal side of my penis, along with hinging and denting. After a long surgery session, with some difficulty getting one of the cylinders into my cavernosum, my surgeon got the job done with excellent results. He had to break up (fracture?) the plaque to make room for the cylinders. Came out of surgery with only a slight curve, no hinging or denting. Through diligent cycling, my dick is now straight and can be as hard as a steel pipe. Over 2 years later, I couldn't be happier. My best advice is to find a good surgeon.
20 years of severe Peyronie's plaque, 90 curve, hinging and ED. Cost me 1.5" L and 1" G.

hey hello friend, the same thing happened to me as you. Having anxiety and depression, I developed body fibrosis. I think it was when I inserted the penis into the vagina that it bent a little. I also believe that people who suffer from anxiety and depression develop fibrosis or Peyronie's more easily. because? I don't know. everything that you have said that has happened to you, was what happened to me. It has been a year and a half since it happened to me and I have been to many urologists. I would advise you to go to one who will do an erection Doppler, to be able to check if that fibrosis is creating a venous leak. This is my case, it created a venous leak, I finally know what is happening to me. I went to at least 8 urologists who said it was psychological and others who even treated me like crazy. so look for that test, and at least you take away the doubt of whether you have a venous leak or not. At this moment I am taking tadalafil (cialis) every day and sildenafil (viagra) two days a week. more vitamins and trying to mentally prepare for an implant. That is my case, it does not mean that your location option is an implant. You could improve but nobody knows that, not even the doctors. if you want write me a PM

I kinda thought one reason just about every man gets an implant is because of fibrosis? Meaning, we have ED problems, and that causes our dick tissue to scar down and be less effective and lose size. Earlier I'd commented with this source because it's the one I know with doctors who give the best and understandable explanation of how VEDs and implants work:

This appears be attributed to the protocol of maximum inflation for at least 1 hour daily. Tissue expansion involves making the tunica albuginea more compliant so it will stretch and allow larger distention by the inflated cylinder. Experience with repetitive vacuum device application shows the tunica will respond with short exposures to the vacuum therapy. Sellers et al. showed that 10 minutes a day of vacuum device application twice a day for 7 weeks promoted visible penile lengthening in the vacuum cylinder when marked weekly in first-time implant patients. It also, and more importantly, allowed the implanting physician to upsize his cylinder approximately 3 cm when compared with the average implant without vacuum preparation [21]. The application of vacuum to a penis with corporal fibrosis has also been described to preserve length preventing some of the shrinkage that accompanies removal of an IPP for infection. The published literature is, at best, anecdotal, but the belief is widespread among frequent implanters. The pressure difference between a hydraulic pump push inside the penis compared with low pneumatic suction on the external penis should be more than a thousand-fold stronger (Henry et al., 2015, p. 1303).

^Ignore it saying the published literature is anecdotal. Might've been true in 2015 when this study was performed, but it's no longer true in 2023.

Asdia1234, you have fibrosis and ED problems. If you want to fix it, start using a VED now, and later get an implant if still needed.
