Thank you all for your wishes. This forum has been a lot of help in my journey.

The surgery went well according to Dr.Yonah. The hospital and the team were excellent.
Once I was awake..he mentioned there was no fibrosis so he could extend in up inside the glans and even showed me where the tips were. I got LGX 19cm. No catheter and no drain. He was mentioning in a pre-surgery chat he implanted a young guy last Friday and he bled heavily. So Dr.Yonah even got me to sign a blood transfusion waiver before the surgery. Luckily I didn't need any blood.

Discharged with tight underwear and ice pack.Checked into the hotel by afternoon. Realized urination was painful and difficult the first few times till yesterday midnight.I could feel the part of my urethra which was probably damaged by the catheter...it burned and the urine touched it.Good news is this morning onwards urine has become easier, a steady stream and minor discomfort.

Left me partially inflated.Had a heavy breakfast this morning. Walking in the room often and icing often. Did not feel I need the Narcotics but to ensure sleep took couple yesterday( at hospital post surgery by the nurse) and later last night at hotel. That is making me bit drowsy. Pain is manageable..swelling in the scrotum and surrounding area.

A friend( who I met through this forum) has been constantly keeping in touch..over the phone..so I am mentally pretty stable too. Listening to spa music and sleeping in between. Today is around 30 hour mark, my surgery was 8 am yesterday.
Hopefully, tomorrow will be better.

Congratulations Captain!
You are finally bionic! Now it is all about staying positive, following the surgeon’s instructions and resting.

I was asked to ice for 3 days followed by heating pad. You will find yourself having various emotions day after day. Also, in my experience the progress is not linear always. You will recover sometimes very quickly and may have a lull period in between.

When do you start cycling? It would be interesting to note the protocols etc. and process followed by Dr. Yonah. He isn’t much spoken about here.

As always wishing you the best and a quick recovery. For now sit back, relax and binge watch netflix !

A lot more fun is coming your way in weeks to come :-)

Captain, my Captain :!:

Welcome to the Bionic Brotherhood :!: I’m glad things went well and you’re starting the healing process.
I have the AMS LGX 18cm with 3cm rear tips, I think you’re gonna like it, I like the soft more natural flaccid the LGX lets you have.
You'll have a lot of questions the next few months and we'll be here to help answer them the best that we can related to our experiences.

Thank you so much>

On the second day:

The pain comes back once med wears off. As some of you have mentioned its a day-by-day emotional up and down. Constipation from pain meds have to be dealt with.Got some glycerin suppositories this morning and that took care of the business.

Ordered few bottles of veg and fruit juices from Walmart..to increase fiber and Vit C.
Taking the antibiotics too.
Icing and walking for the day and first shower in the evening.
