Rate your over all experience with your implant

Postby Antonio1010 » Sat Apr 08, 2023 8:52 pm

Hello all,

For those of you that already have an implant can you please share the following:

Overall Saddisfaction rate %?
Post surgery recovery challenges if any?
The first time you had sex with the implant how was it?
Any regret: would you have done anything different like choosing a different Dr. Or model?
Do you rate you erection stronger than you ever had in your life time?
After orgasm the glans get sensitive or soft or can you keep on going?
How soon After surgery you were clear to pump/cycling?
Have you told your wife about the implant? Ps. I m telling my wife that I m just getting a surgery that will help with erections but I m not telling her that it's is an implant.
How long have you waited to get an implant?
Was your ED permanent or more than 50%?

My ED is at the very begging I would rate it 20%. However the pills are not working as well. I can always get an erection to have sex but it doset last to long and when I came its game over. Before I can wait 30 minutes an go again for long time. I can not longer count on dick ad I used too. This kills me..

I m planning on getting my implant in June. I hope that I m not jumping the gun. But the thought of having a dick that is 120% reliable and hard like a rock seems a no-brainer to me.

Thanks in advance.

Satisfaction = 97%
Recovery = sucked, swollen and black and blue, for 4 weeks
First time = Not so great. Wife issues due to no sex. dryness
Regrets = NONE! Great doctor
Hardness = Better than when I was 16!!
After = It stays hard until you press the release, and she loves that.
Communications = A MUST! Don't hide anything. Remember... It's your dick...it's her pleasure
ED = dealt with ED for over 20 years. An implant will change your life.
ED = 100% permanent

Overall Satisfaction rate? More than satisfied, I have an erection again.

Post surgery recovery challenges if any? Very little pain, no challenges, was a breeze compared to the stories of many I've read here on FT.

The first time you had sex with the implant how was it? GREAT! and will only get better

Any regret? No, I spent a LOT of time researching questions to ask and knew what I was getting into beforehand. Nothing to regret, all expectations met or exceeded.

Do you rate you erection stronger than you ever had in your life time? Stronger in the sense that it's two high tech cylinders filled with saline?...yes. In my 20s I had a very nice erection with a lovely upward curve, fat glans, highly sensitive and more than hard enough for anything I put it through, it too was "strong".

After orgasm the glans get sensitive or soft or can you keep on going? I can keep going

How soon After surgery you were clear to pump/cycling? 4 weeks to cycle, 5 weeks for sex

Have you told your wife about the implant? ABSOLUTELY, she's my partner, she's on this journey with me. Would you expect her to come home with bigger boobs and not have told you she had implants? You're not going to be able to keep this from your wife, unless you're on a business trip for a few weeks.

How long have you waited to get an implant? I started looking into this 4 months ago, and waited 3 months for a hole in my travel schedule that would allow me the time I needed for the surgery and recovery.

Was your ED permanent or more than 50%? I had pretty complete ED. No nocturnal erections anymore, yet I could get myself to an orgasm with the help of my wife. Not able to penetrate unless I took the pills, and then it was 50/50 they'd work and I'd then have a raging headache and see blue for 24 hours.

I'm very puzzled about the question about telling your wife. How could you not tell your wife? My wife and I discussed it for months before the implant. She drove me home from the hospital and went to all appointments with me. She was an excellent nurse afterwards and now she enjoys watching me cycle and reaps the benefits. I couldn't fathom it any other way.

95%. Pretty much kept girth, lost about an inch from pre-ed days, same or bigger than pre surgery (when i could even get it erect long enough to measure.) Long term hopeful for a slight girth gain and weightloss surgery later this year should give me back my length plus some all in all. Doing perito exercises and using a VED hoping to maximize my next implant when I break this one from overuse  (or distal perforation issues.)

Antonio1010 wrote:Post surgery recovery challenges if any?

Believe due to placement ill eventually need a revision due to distal perforation of the right cylinder

Antonio1010 wrote: The first time you had sex with the implant how was it?

Stress free but sore. To quote the wife, "i dont know if i can keep up with your bionic penis, but im going to try"

Antonio1010 wrote:Any regret: would you have done anything different like choosing a different Dr. Or model?

I may have gone further from home to get it, my doctor was good, little bruising, quick healing, attentive, but the location of the one cylinder is worrying for me. Doesn't seem to worry him though. Not dismissive though, just wants to wait more time.

Antonio1010 wrote:Do you rate you erection stronger than you ever had in your life time?

Average 90% pumped erection is about as hard as i was at 17 when really ready to go. 100% is uncomfortable, but i could use it as a door knocker.

Antonio1010 wrote:After orgasm the glans get sensitive or soft or can you keep on going?

Yeap, still pretty sensitive, but can keep going, its more of a mind thing. Post nut clarity. More of "do i even WANT to keep going or just finish her in 5 with oral?"

Antonio1010 wrote:How soon After surgery you were clear to pump/cycling?

Between 2-3 weeks, but had learned to do it earlier due to not wanting my dick to touch the inside of a public toilet.

Antonio1010 wrote:Have you told your wife about the implant? Ps. I m telling my wife that I m just getting a surgery that will help with erections but I m not telling her that it's is an implant.

Yeap, told my close friend group too. Nfg. Seriously consider telling your wife she is going to notice eventually... Unless it's going to cause some kind of serious problem in your relationship.

Antonio1010 wrote:How long have you waited to get an implant?

5+ years to long, wish i knew it was possible sooner.

Antonio1010 wrote:Was your ED permanent or more than 50%?

Last year i would lose an erection if i rolled over. Had an errant thought, etc. So pretty bad... Turned out i had a rather severe venous leak.

Antonio1010 wrote:My ED is at the very begging I would rate it 20%. However the pills are not working as well. Frankly, i waited till i was taking 20mg cialis and 100mg viagra at once before i got mine (and it was barely functional). Had i known about it, id probably have done it at "20mg cialis isn't working 100%."

My advice is, use your natural member until it doesn't work like it should with pills... Then its time for surgical assistance. That however is between you and your doctor my friend.

As far as i am concerned, at this point, i am the human incarnation of eros, min, zamani, jarilo, asmodeus, pothos, pan, priapus, amor, azrul, kamadiva, daikokuten, etc. Hard cock, ready to rock. Just being aware of how well it works my sex drive has jumped massively. If i had this stresss free sex in my 20s I'd probably spend the rest of my life in debt for child support and died of a sti by 40.

Satisfaction: 95%. Only complaint might be some hard tubing thats palpable left side of the shaft base.
Post surgery: Immediately postop sucked. I had a lot of pain at the reservoir placement site that couldn't be controlled with opioids and I couldn't piss. I did manage to get out of the hospital that evening though. My skin incision also took longer than expected to heal and I received a couple rounds of further antibiotics for potential slight skin infection .
FIrst time: great. Christmas Day 2022.
No regrets on the doctor or model. His support team was pretty weak when it came to follow and responses to questions/concerns.
Probably not stronger than the teens/early 20s model erection but far better than in recent years. Far better.
It's sensitive. I can keep going if the wife hasn't orgasmed yet but its not a great feeling.
Two weeks to cycling.
Yeah I told her when I made the decision. The injections were super non spontaneous and didn't work worth a damn so she was all in favor. I guess if she's not feeling your scrotum and you are super stealthy about pumping it up she might not know for some time. I don't tell her about my 30 minutes of cycling per day though, that seems clinical and not something very sexy so I get that in without announcing itpart
I moved from "different drugs" to "injections" to surgery within a year. Things had really fallen apart over the prior few years.
I couldn't get a decent hardon with meds so I guess 100%? I didnt do any advanced diagnostics such as ultrasound, My deteriorating function told me what I needed to know.

Hope this helps.

I've only had my implant for 4 weeks and I am 100% satisfied
*I healed very quickly and was mowing the grass 2 weeks after surgery.
*I had sex 3 weeks and 2 days after surgery
*Not regrets
*Definitely hardest erection I have ever had.
*The gland stayed hard
*I haven't had my doctor train me in cycling but I started 2 weeks after surgery
*I told my wife everything. She acted like it was all my diction but the decision was all mine and wasn't going to influence mine. But 3 weeks before the surgery she said she is really happy I'm going to do it. Because she didn't want to hurt my feelings.
*Once I made the decision because of holidays and family coming in I had to wait 2 months. Then after I was cleared by my doctor the urologist couldn't put me on the schedule for 3 more weeks. I went to another doctor and had it done in 2 weeks.
*My ED was coming and going but not very strong. Last year nothing.

I'm the new kid on the block and have a lot to learn from all you guys and I thank you.

Hello Antonio: In response to your questions I will try and give you my respond. First of all I have had two different types of cylinders for the implants. First one was called ULTREX AMS 700 and I was like 58 years old and it lasted on me fifteen years. It was good, had lots of sex with no problems until the pump failed. So I went to a good specialists and had a revision. This time I chose the LGX AMS and this one I can truly say I am 100% satisfied with it It gives me length, girth and it feels so natural. What I liked most was that it gives you the full length that you had before implants. But as you get older the length does get longer and girthier, so it is a very good system. 100%

The first was rough and painful post surgery, had to take pain pills for about a week, lots of swelling. But apply ice packs and the swelling will go away and every thing will be normal within six weeks. The revision was much different. I healed up after three weeks. Both have been a blessing if you like to have sex, but the LGX is really good.
age: 75 First implant around 2001, 59 at the time. AMS 700 Ultrex
revision Dec 2016. 2ND implant 21CM, 1rte AMS 700 LGX MS pump
