Rock Hard?

Postby dunbar57 » Tue Apr 04, 2023 11:50 pm

I got my Coloplast Titan 20cm+2cm RTE five months ago. I have never had what I or my wife would call a rock-hard erection. Sometimes I'm not hard enough for sex.

I went back to see my surgeon, Dr. Paul Perito yesterday. He inflated me fully and said for an implant this is a rock hard erection. My wife and I both felt my shaft and were shocked at how it didn't feel rock hard to us.

I've read so many of your stories about being as hard as when you were 18. This is nowhere near as hard as when I was a young man.

Any thoughts?

I don't think my implant is "rock hard" either but it's as hard as any boner I ever had.

Just used it to f*ck someone for the 1st time post OP today. It did the job w/o any problems and that's all that matters to me. 8-)

At maximum inflation mine is as hard as any erection I have ever had in my entire life. I can't bend it more than a few degrees... I posted a pic in another thread of me pushing several pounds of force and it just compressed the glans... After it hit the cylinder it was like pushing on solid wood or rock.

You perhaps have a very girthy penis prior to the operation? Maybe you have a bit more spongy tissue left around the cylinders then most of us? My girth really didn't change much if at all.

Did I read that right? Sometimes when you "fully inflate" you're not hard enough for sex?

Yeah, I'd be sitting on the doctor's lap until that got sorted out. Either it's you, the prosthesis or the installer. You need more training or the implant is bad or there's something wrong with the way it was put in.

I had a bit of the same concern when I started cycling, it never got to the 'rock hard' stage I was told to pump to. I could put in 100 pumps and could keep going. I was concerned, but knew it was still early, things maybe weren't working right yet. I contacted my doc and he said that I should just keep cycling and maybe I just had extra superpower grip strength and could squeeze the bulb no matter what. It didn't feel like that, but my only option was to continue cycling.

At the 2 week mark of cycling, something changed with the pump and valve. In my hot tub I only got in 10 pumps and my dick felt different, it was rock hard. The tips hurt a little (I had had no pain to that point). Now, I consistently max out at 15-20 pumps and I have a wife verified rock hard penis. I think we'll actually determine that something less than max pump will be most comfortable for both of us.

Jage-- I am so glad you wrote this as that is where I am after 4 days of being unable to achieve max despite north of 150 pumps. Surgeon out of country till May but I called Coloplast who really could not explain it except to say what I was doing would not damage the implant. Now I have been stopping at 50 strong pumps. Not max, but plenty good enough for any penetration. How do you determine you are at max pumps? Randy

Agree with the above. Somethings not right. We all probably vary somewhat in our results, but you’re inability to get hard enough for sex is a big red flag. If Dr. Perito is telling you to live with what you got, Maybe you should consider a second opinion.

Dr. Clavell would have a look at what you got and surely render his opinion as to whether this is normal or not. I doubt it is. If not Dr. Clavell, another high volume guy willing to have a look.

Personally, mine is like a pipe at 100%. I have to back off to 85% to feel like a normal person. (and after some time spent cycling i hope to normalize this 100% steel pipe.

Best wishes friend.

Mine is so hard I think a truck could run over it and bounce, ha ha ha. I usually pump it up until the bulb won't depress any more then do the Perito exercise and then get at least 4 more pumps. I'm 4 months post and I'm very very happy with the results. My surgeon was Dr. Hakky in Atlanta.

If you are in Miami and need a second opinion, I recommend you to see my surgeon Dr. Billy Cordon who has been recommended by Dr. Eid himself. Another great surgeon in Miami is Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy.

I am surprised by this problem—if I fully inflate, my erection is as hard as a piece of wood and is too hard for my wife to comfortably accommodate. I only inflate about 80% for sex and a little less for oral sex.

my 100% erection is as hard as steel, the problem is that it hurts, it cannot be bent, the glans deflates because there is no blood flow with the cylinders inflated to the maximum, the cock is numb and numb, if I go down it less than 80% it feels like a cylinder lump to the touch, I have to balance it down to 80/85% to make everything go well
