Hello,

I am getting an implant in couple of months, I am 31 and have veno-occulsive ed. I have tried almost all treatment nothing works. 100mg Viagra, 20mg Tadalafil, 20mg Levitra.. (Tadalafil just give me a chubby erection not very hard almst 35% but not reliable). I was injected with alpostradil 40mg and have an 80% erection for 3-5 minutes only with sensation, the erection subsided quickly when there was no stimulation. Either I should use injection or get an implant?

I am little bit worried about my future if i get an implant, i am afraid of revisions... Do you guys can share some of your experiences regarding revisions, and under what circumstances you got it, and also am not if i can get a good sample size of people whose implant did not fail in last 10+years.

I have found a girl, which i am engaged to but we did not had sex yet. She is aware i had some hormonal issues in the past, I did not disclose more, because, my friend introduced me to her and every one isver well connected with each other. I do not want people to know my dick do not work. That will be embarrasing for me.

Can you guys please help me to decide or guide me ?

Thanks

If I were you, I would go with injections. But keep in mind that after so long the injections failed for me. I used bimix for a while and the good thing about bimix is it doesn't need to be refrigerated.

What is there to decide?

You're already scheduled for an implant and have tried all treatment options and nothing works. What good would more injections do?

Yes, the likelihoood is that you will have a "revision" to fix the implant multiple times in your lifetime but is having ED for life the better choice?

I think not but you'll have to decide what to do for yourself.

Good luck!

Def injections. Just go higher in dosage. I use 60mcg/ml and plan on going up to like 300mcg/ml if necessary. Just don't get caverject or edex get the monomix compound for higher dosages.

With injections i have a regular dating life and 99.9% of girls never even knew. Just excuse yourself to the bathroom before the deed and you're good to go.

Injections seem like a temporary fix and expensive. If they work for you then more power to you. Maybe consider malleable? I’m 30 and considering going malleable

are you kidding? malleable is for paraplegics and men that have low manual dexterity. they must be shorter and are also the smallest in girth.

Implants have a very very high satisfaction rate among patients and partners. 95-98% What else do you need to know? Watch the videos from the high volume surgeons. Clavell in Houston, Perrito in Florida. They are on youtube. The operations, the inflating, the deflating. Probably somewhere there is one of somebody using one on their partner.

I know I am older but I had issues when I was younger as well. Nobody offered anything then. Got bad enough I had to get shots or get an implant if I wanted sex.

Come to find out, my implant is so much better than using a half filled dick threatening to collapse with no notice. Cannot tell you the number of times that happened. My doctor told me it would renew my life and he was right. I so wish I had done this as soon as they were available. For the price of a used car every 10 years, you can have the life you have been dreaming of. Stop dreaming and live your life. Just my opinion.

My wife swears any woman worthy of time and love will have no problem with your unit where she can dial in hardness and girth. Ask your girl -- No better way to show you trust her and to find out if you should.

Do not be concerned about embarrassment. All your friends will see your new bulge after implant anyway. It's all good.

Don't mean to be cold, but please don't shoot yourself up for mega bucks then have to get the implant anyway. You will be humping shortly after your implant is installed. Then no pills, no drugs, just sex and your girl. Just like my wife and I honeymooning all next month on a ship with our balcony designed for adult activity.

Im 30 and had my implant surgery 6 weeks ago. My urologist advised that injections weren't a good choice for a young person. In retrospect since getting the surgery, maybe he's right maybe he's wrong, but I wish I at least tried them for a while, you should also look into vein embolization, it's not a long term fix but it can work for some people and surely it is better to atleast try and fix the issue rather than committing to fake erections for life, with an implant, especially as a young person. Most of this forum is populated by old men more than double our age, they are living very different sex lives to a young man so while the opinions are valid, just take that into consideration. Get some therapy before you make the decision aswell. This is all advice I wish I had been given and taken before I had my surgery.

You are not happy with your implant? Any reasons?
