Self Inflate Possible?

Postby Steve5231 » Mon Mar 27, 2023 11:19 am

Sometimes I can't feel the "pop" when I try to cycle. It seems that the implant has somehow inflated by itself overnight. Is this even possible? I have an AMS 700 CX implanted on 1/29/2023.
75 years old. Was on Viagra and then Cialis but got fed up with the side effects. Switched to Tri-Mix 3 years ago but had increasingly reduce effect. Finally implanted 1/19/2023. Always looking for advice. Live in Illinois.

I have a coloplast with a genesis pump which has to be held button in the whole time your deflating… but, you have to realize when you deflate your only squeezing the portion outside your body, there 1/3 more fluid in the remainder of your implant that’s going to flow back into the outer part. At first it’s common to not be able to get completely deflated. Things are stiff and resistant to deflation. If your valve is open then it will balance the pressure in the whole system and would def give you a chubby. I’ve always heard to give your pump one or two good pumps immediately after deflation to reset the valve in a locked position that only lets fluid in by the pump.

I have tried and tried to stop the "auto-inflation" by squeezing the pump very hard after deflating but it continues to self-inflate a while after deflating. What am I doing wrong? Reminder... I have an AMS 700 cx implant.

I had auto inflate with my MS pump. They are tight and take time to be able to fully switch. 2 things you can do. One deflate as much as possible and then pump till you feel the pop. That will lock it in inflate mode and keep it from auto inflating any more. Two is to call your AMS rep. They have some things to do that are not in the DVD that was in your packet.

How it is supposed to work is you depress the deflate button until you can release the button and it will still deflate(you feel it buzz). I don't have to even squeeze my penis anymore as it goes down on it's own. I had some dog ears early also and would put a pump or 3 in to help with that. I like having a few pumps in for a larger flaccid. Makes it a lot easier to pull out of jeans and pee. Auto inflation and dog ears were mostly reported be Titan owners. Haven't had many complaints that I have read recently though.
