Nervous about using implant?

Postby Vetteman » Thu Mar 23, 2023 1:49 pm

Hey guys I got the AMS implant about 2 yrs ago and still haven’t had sex since. Long story but I’m now in a relationship and can’t help but feel nervous about it. At times it feels like it’s not hard as things used to be before surgery. Any tips or input?

Take it slow and easy.........you will do fine. Congratulations on finally being able to use your new tool.

Assume you're having sex in the new relationship? Pump up, wait a bit then try adding more pumps. It's OK to be nervous, but once you experience sex with your implant and how well you can please your partner that nervous will turn into confidence.

What was your dick size pre/post op and what is it now? Even though you didn't use it for 2 years, have you still been cycling it?

I'd be curious to see if you suffered any atrophy post op due to non use of the implant post op.

Other than that, if all of the parts are still working, I don't see why you still can't f*ck w/your implant, although I wouldn't be surprised if you feel some pain or discomfort in your shaft due to expansion that it hasn't experienced in the past 2 years.

As others have said, you should start inflating your implant again NOW and, if it hurts, gradually work up to whatever is your max now.

Good luck!!!

If I had to guess I’d say size is about the same. And it does seem to work without issue 99% of time time by myself of course. There have been a couple times where the pump seems to get stuck but I just deflate and start over and it seems fine. At times it does seem like it’s not that hard right away but I’m guessing you may have to wait a little while?

As for inflating it-i have been using it fairly often just by myself and there is no pain.

Vetteman, it would help us, if we knew a little more about you to answer your questions.

I plan on cycling my implant everyday or when I take a shower. I don't always inflate it to its max, sometimes just mid way which is around 30 to 35 pumps for masturbation in the shower.

The first time we had sex with the implant it was awkward because it was around 6 weeks after surgery and I still had some pain. I pumped it up as much as I could at the 6 week point which was probably around 35 pumps and with everything still healing and with some mild numbness the sex wasn't that great and it hurt after about 20 minutes, but it wasn't awful.

Hopefully you won't have any pain since you've had it for 2 years, but who knows, because it sounds like you haven't inflated it, for two years.

When I want to have good sex I pump it up to 60 or 65 pumps for easy in and out penetrative sex. I don't have pain in my shaft or my glans since I'm 16 months out from surgery and I can leave it pumped up to max for more than an hour.

Before we have sex, I pump it up ahead of time, so that it doesn't spoil the mood while we are having foreplay. I also put my condom on at that time, so we don't have to wait for that too.

Good Luck,
Send us more questions, we'll try to help

I know you said it's a long story but can I ask why you haven't had sex with it? Did you not like the result?

Indeed, way more info is needed here. It sounds like you are starting from scratch... and that can't be?
