Sometimes my glands are cold to the touch, maybe not cold but not the same temperature as my shaft. But as the glands enlarge and the blood flows in it warms up.

For the first 8-10 weeks after surgery, my glans was smaller than pre-surgery and always felt cold to the touch. I recall posting my disappointment that my dick looked like a cone head during that post-op phase. But, like so many other things about this recovery process, my glans size and temperature slowly returned to normal as the surgery trauma healed. Throughout the whole recovery process I never noticed a cold shaft or anywhere else besides the glans.

Now ONLY when max-pumped for cycling will my glans shrink and feel cold to the touch.
As newbi443 mentioned, the blood supply to the glans seems to be restricted at max inflation.
But my wife and I don’t find max inflation comfortable for sex anyway so its not been an issue when it matters most.

How far do you typically pump for intercourse?

I'm sure that you will get lots of different answers for typical pump inflation for intercourse, because we are all different with different anatomy and different implants.

I have the AMS 700 LGX and I'm 16 months out from surgery, so for me 60 to 65 pumps gets me to 90% and that makes for me, more satisfying in and out intercourse. My wife hasn't complained about it being too hard, she likes penetrative vaginal sex, so I adjust for what works best for me. I can get up to 70 to 75 with half pumps as it stretches and at that level she hasn't complained either. Like I said you're going to get all kinds of answers. At 100% it does restrict the blood flow to the glans, so sometimes I'll do lower level of pumps until my glans swell with blood and then pump it up more.

During foreplay, I like it a little softer around 50 pumps, so that it's a little more flexible, we usually start with spooning side to side where I'm behind her, I use my penis to rub up and down the outside of her vagina and stimulating her clit. This is a comfortable position for us at our age to get the party started, I'm 65 and she is 60.

When I first started cycling at 6 weeks, I could only get in 15 to 25 pumps and I thought that was rock hard.

Keep cycling and stretching and see what pump level works best for you and your wife. I'm sure your pump level will be different than mine.

Good luck

After prostatectomy your dick is cold because they removed nerves to get rid of the cancer. One set of nerves causes erections. Another set of nerves creates blood flow in your dick and glans. in some prostatectomys nerves are just injured and feeling comes back at 24 months average. In my case ALL my nerves were removed, hence, I have a popsicle on a stick.
