Cycling - Progress on regaining length and girth

Hello my friends!

I have been implanted now 7 weeks ago. So far everything is healing quite nicely, no major pain.

I have also been cycling for around 2 weeks by now and, as many of us, I am eager to regain/max out my girth.
However, I got the feeling that I do not really make that much progress - maybe 0.2 cm since.
Also, I am measuring different results on different days, up to 0.3 cm less than the day before.

Therefore my questions:
Is the progress I´m doing here too slow, or are my expectations too high?
And is it normal to have that "much" less girth on some days or am I simply too stupid to measure accordingly?

Thank you a lot in advance, really love all the information in this forum my bionic brothers :)

Yes, your expectations are way to high at this stage of your journey. It takes weeks/months for the size gains to develop. Be patient. As far as your girth measurement is concerned, I would bet it a result of small differences in your level of inflation from one day to the next. Relax, you're doing fine.

Definitely high expectations after only 7 weeks. Getting size back is very incremental. Wrote some of this now, and some I commented with earlier about how the process was for me:

I looked back at my album and my first 10 days of cycling had close to zero effect on length. I wrote, "2021-12-17: After a week of inflating and deflating the device, my erect and flaccid size have stayed under 7". This is concerning. So, I keep exercising it."

So I get my implant Nov. 2nd, 2021, and December 7th was the first day I started pumping it (my doctor messaged me back on the 6th confirming I should start cycling, and I spent the rest of that day trying to figure out how the hell to pump it. I kept squeezing the wrong spot). I was a tad over 6.5" then, down from 8.75".

You'll be trying to exercise it fairly consistently for at least a year now. And improvements will be very incremental. I do remember my first noticeable "gains" were around Christmas. I'd jumped up over an inch pretty quickly (or at least the measurements made it seem that way), but from that point forward it's all been incredibly incremental. Like, gaining maybe .1" every few weeks. And the measurement sizes you get will be a little sporadic, like you're not always gonna pump the same exact amount of fluid every time before you hit the bypass, and times of day/mood probably matter. I know I measured at 8" 3 months after implant and still measured at exactly 8" 4 months after implant, which was also concerning.

So don't expect an obvious increase that's consistent and easily observable, because it's not. But what you do have is a whole lot of time, so stay patient.
