Yes. Along with glans getting engorged I would be thrilled to see a partial erection in morning. Even though it will be absolutely useless but it would give me a sense of being more close to normal. But if that was not the case, I am more than happy to have a working and on demand erect dick!

Thanks for your wishes!
Yes Dr. Cordon has extensively trained under Dr. Eid during his residency at Lenox Hill. He told me he was a part of 100’s of IPP surgeries along with Dr. Eid. Dr. Eid has been suggesting his name to whoever has reached out to him for an alternative. Also, he suggests name of Dr. Cordon for any penile reconstruction related surgeries. It seems Dr. Cordon is quite good with penile reconstruction and trauma related surgeries. In words of a doctor brother here on FT, this makes the IPP surgery a relatively easy procedure for Dr. Cordon.

With my results so far, i am not surprised with that assessment :)

It’s been about a week and half since I got my surgery done with Dr. Cordon at Miami.
The swelling is all gone now. I still get some soreness and pinching pain in the scrotum intermittently. The pump feels very hard but I can feel the deflate valves easily. But I feel it will be very painful if I had to press them. I am still waiting for for the 16th to do it over video consultation with Dr. Cordon. Also I feel the pump is hanging a bit low in my scrotum. I always had a smallish sized scrotum. I am sure that the doctor mentioned I got a very good placement of the pump. But I feel its hanging on the lower side. I will seek the doctor’s opinion on this.

One thing I note is that my penis feels little cold and has less sensation. The glans has a lot of sensation but the penis specially the below part which is not visible to eye feel very cold and without any sensation. I am not sure if this is normal at this stage or should I be worried?

I will ask the doctor.

For pain management I am only taking ibuprofen 600 mg one tablet a day. The shaft pains when I wake up in the morning. I think its because of the glans engorgement combined with the need to pee. The peeing has improved considerably and is only disturbed due to the constant erect state.

I am so looking forward to deflating myself on the 16th followed by daily cycling.

I have been feeling the need to masturbate since few days but I am avoiding it. The stitches are healing well. Today I saw little gel discharge around one or 2 stitches. Not sure if that is normal after the stitches get dissolved? Again this needs to be checked but I am not worried.

I am actually now considering making a day trip to Miami and try to see Dr. Cordon and learning how to use the implant from him along with showing him my progress. But since, I already have my video consult coming up, I will take this call after that.

2 weeks since I had my IPP surgery in Miami with Dr. Cordon,

I had my follow up today over video call with the doctor. He had a look at the incision and the overall healing. He said I am doing well. There is still a little bit of swelling in the scrotum. He asked me to try to inflate and deflate but it was very painful. He told me we will give it another week. He has cleared me to cycle if I can on my own. I will try to cycle during the week before my appointment. If I am not able to use it even after a week, I will go to Miami to see the doctor in person.

I asked him about my peyronies to which he said he has tried to clear the angulation as much as he could without hurting the urethra. I am hoping for a significant overall improvement.

Rest I am doing fine. Some pain in the scrotum around the pump is still there. I am managing with minimal pain killers now. I think now it is just about having patience and waiting for the remaining swelling to get over.

Dr. Cordon advised me to cycle for 6 months, 2 times a day for 15 mins.

I plan to follow all his advise.

I am more than 2 weeks out from my surgery. The swelling on my scrotum is still there (even though mild). The shaft pains in the morning specially but pain gets better after I pee. I am getting my glans engorged.

I had my 2 week follow up but could not get myself to cycle. I have tried to do cycling but everytime I do I feel pain and I give up. Also the pump keeps slipping while I try to squeeze it. It is very hard right now. Also, I get pinching type of pain whenever I touch the pump or try to press the deflate button.

Any tricks which might help me? I have decided that if I am unable to do this in the coming week, I will take an appointment and fly out to see Dr. Cordon and have him do it forcefully. I think I tend to give up as I can’t handle the pain.

Those who are recently out if surgery, kindly provide me some tips around this. Also, should I be worried that even after 17-18 days I am not able to inflate/deflate?

I wouldn't stress yet.
18 days isn't long, and we all heal at different rates.
I couldn't find the deflate button until almost 4 weeks out, and I'm able to cycle twice or more daily without too much pain.

Atul- I wouldn't sweat it. Dr. Clavell doesn't have us inflate/deflate until 6 weeks post. That's 42 days out, and you're only 17 out.

I'll be 4 weeks post on Wednesday, and I've been able to find my pump and all the parts and pieces very easily since day 2 when I took the wrap off. It's been tempting me for 4 weeks to push or squeeze something, but I'm being strong and waiting until told to do so.

Agree with Jage. I didn’t dare even touch anything until 1 month out. Then i finally started to feel around a bit, was pleased it didn’t hurt to touch it, and though i could feel all the pump parts. It was an accurate assessment. Didn’t start my first cycle until 6 weeks out.

All that slipping out of your fingers you describe, the “ballistic neighbor”, gets better in a very short time as you figure out the perfect grip. Then it’s muscle memory. I can get it started now with one hand quickly (not a first. Was 2 handed then). Bulb softens pretty quick. I can get 15 good pumps in one handed then switch to two to finish.

I also think that walking, a lot, is good for keeping the scrotum moving. The more it moves, the more the pump is moving with the various pressures. I started with a mile on week for snd by week 6 was at 3 mikes daily…. and with a 60% inflated chub to boot. On cycling day 1 everything was in order and good to go.

You hang in there amigo. You’re still early.
