As you’re aware i’m sure, many of us don’t even commence cycling for 6 weeks (we remain 50% inflated during that time). At 6 weeks, as opposed to your 3 weeks, you started cycling.

Everything you describe, pain in shaft, perinium, scrotum….i felt too. Those first few sessions are an endurance test. Far removed from sexual pleasure.

Of course, talk to your doctor, but in my opinion, you’re doing just fine. Mother Nature IS working her magic on you daily, and slowly, as you continue to adapt and heal. You’re not there yet, and won’t be for several more weeks/months.

But you WILL see improvements over time. My guess is that at, say, month 4-5, you will be here telling guys in your shoes now that it’s all going to be ok.

Thanks a lot TB. I know I should give it more time but I keep getting these fears. The whole ED thing has been so traumatic and hurtful for so many years which makes me anxious over little things from time to time. I am sure everyone here will relate to this somewhat.

From my side I have decided to see Dr. Billy once in next 10-12 days and also Dr. Eid on May 1st. Because after that I fly back to India on May 7th and will lose my visa (for now)

I am so grateful to you and many others for keeping me motivated.

Even now, every once in a while I may still get a twinge if I move in the wrong direction or pick something up very heavy at the gym. All part of the healing.

Granted we all focus on the surgery but as I focused on other aspects of my life, my "perceived" implant issues went away.

9 months later it is part of me and I barely think about it except when cycling or having sex.

We all heal differently but time is the key.

Thanks! i am glad you feel this way. I will be looking forward to reaching that time myself!

I am 4 week plus out of surgery now. Have been cycling now for almost 10 days plus.

Currently I cycle once a day for about 15-20 mins. I plan to increase this to twice a day now and then gradually work the time up to about 30 mins.

I see my surgeon Dr. Cordon on Friday April 07 to learn from him the maximum inflation possible with the implant and also try to squeeze the deflate valve as much as I can to get maximum deflation. Since I will be back to India next month, I felt this is a good opportunity to do this.

I have also taken an appointment with Dr. Eid for May 1st to show him my results of surgery and take his feedback. Why did I do this? Well because all my IPP journey was centered around him since Sept 2022. I was looking forward to my surgery when it was cancelled 2 days before my surgery date. Now that I have a chance I would like the master to have a look.

I am almost pain free now. Only slight discomfort during the day after I cycle. Also, I am trying not to inflate to 100% during cycling and waiting till I see Dr. Cordon. So that means I don't stretch maximum which gives pain. Cycling during shower certainly helps.

The only concern I have is with peeing. I still struggle to pee a steady stream and look forward to that getting normal. The mornings with glans engorged and flaccid feeling like a complete erection (good enough for intercourse imo) is tad bit uncomfortable till I go pee. The underside of the shaft feels numb still and few areas of my scrotum are still very sensitive.

The inflation has become easy and almost pain free. I try to give small pumps to begin with and then increase intensity as I get a hold of the pump. I use both hands to pump and feel that is the most comfortable for me. The deflation is still painful with the pinching pain and some blood knots inside which are still healing.

I do get horny from time to time which makes me feel normal. The glans becomes hard and engorged during this time.

Overall, I feel my recovery is about 1-2 weeks slower than what my surgeon suggested but this is something which does not bother me at all. Also, I am not overly paranoid about preserving length as many FT members here are. I am already close to my pre-operative length and happy with what I have. Any gains made will be a plus of course but I am not losing any sleep over it. I value a working dick much more than getting finicky over size. Having said that it feel surreal to see yourself erect for as long as you want.

Besides the medical bit, I am trying to find my mental peace and hope that this implant will help me become a better version of myself overall. As previously stated by me many times, I have lost of lot of my personality, confidence, social being, work due to the continuous ED monkey sitting on my shoulder. I understand that the recovery is still on and I am few months out before I start feeling the implant being a part of me. I also am trying not to put everything on hold and think that all my problems will be solved after I start having sex again. I feel one will be disappointed if we do that. Talking to my therapist is helping me.

Would appreciate members sharing tips on how to increase your mental strength. How did you guys do that?

I'm not clear what kind of mental issue(s) you are having. So I can't (nor should I) offer any advice in that regard.

As for me, the only "problem" I had was that I had ED and needed to find a way to "fix" it. The implant accomplished that.

Prior to getting the implant, I could still get it "up" now & then and had a GF (an ex now) who was understanding and did what she could to help but, of course, I was still insecure about not being able to rely on "it."

Now that I've got the implant and have f*cked w/it, I know that can now f*ck anyone, anywhere, anytime. Doesn't matter if I'm attracted to that person or not, just if I want to f*ck or not.

It's bigger and as hard as it ever was and any insecurity that I had about my manhood before is now all GONE!

Follow up visit post surgery after 5 weeks

Postby atul21 » Sat Apr 08, 2023 11:11 pm

Updates after meeting Dr. Cordon yesterday on 07-April-2023.

I met Dr. Cordon in Miami 1 month 5 days after I went under the knife at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami. This appointment was at the Skylake location which was very convenient as the facility is located at a strip mall with many restaurants, supermarket nearby. This was helpful for me as I traveled from NJ.

The doctor examined me and said that the incision has healed very well. He said I have very minor swelling in scrotum and made me feel at ease about the various issues I brought to his notice like underside of penis being numb, left testicle being more raised than the right one, some sensitivity on the scrotum, shaft not rounded and flattish on top, dog ears etc.
He said all the things are normal and will get better with time.

One thing which I was not aware of till now which he thinks is responsible for my slow recovery and continued pain while cycling is that he sized me aggressively. He said that he chose to size me to the maximum which led to over sizing. Said that had he given me a cm less, my lain would have all gone away by now. But since he chose to over size me, he says I will feel pain for almost 3 months. He said he made the call of choosing extra size with more painful and longer recovery vs lesser size. I’m not sure if I was given this option before my surgery which option I would have chosen.

He also inflated me to the maximum. At this level the glans started to pain a lot. On too of that he examined the glans and shaft completely which brought more pain. Post that he deflated me and showed me what completely deflated penis will look like. It seems I was almost doing the complete deflation but I was not inflating fully during my cycling.

On my request, he agreed to prescribe to me more pain killer but said I should be cautious while eating them and try to avoid. From my experience having a lain killer 1 hour before cycling helps reduce pain a lot. My next goal is to start cycling 2 times a day and keep reducing pain killers intake for cycling.

Overall he was satisfied and happy with the surgical outcome. He mentioned that the pump is placed at a great location. He said, I can now be at ease wrt infection as he sees no reason for it to get infected.

I had some more questions for him which he answered patiently. He advised me to keep him updated on my progress via email as I will now not be able to see him in person for quite some time. He asked for updates after 4 months.

Cycling gets better

Postby atul21 » Thu Apr 13, 2023 7:49 am

Hello,

Don’t know how it happened but suddenly I find that the pain in my scrotum while inflating or deflating is almost gone. The swelling has almost gone (reduced substantially within a day)

The pump also feels softer now and I am able to get wall to wall presses of the pump. I haven’t eaten pain killers for 3 days now and have been cycling 2 times a day for about 25-30 mins. Doctor has advised me to cycle for 3 times a day for about 20-25 mins.

I also was horny and excited since few days so I tried to play around after inflation and masturbated 2 days back. It was such a relief and I had a good ejaculation. So all that ability has been preserved which of course was expected.

In my humble experience for those who are reading this post, I have found that within a short span of time you can heal a lot. So even if you feel that not much is happening, suddenly it can feel much better. So hang in there and follow your doctor’s advise.

Right now my concerns are that
-the flaccid is hanging at about 2:45 which must improve. I am able to press and hold it down without much discomfort now, but would ideally like it to hang downwards naturally.
-The mornings are still painful with my bladder being full. It seem to be putting extra pressure on the urethra and it only goes after I pee.
- sleeping on side is still not comfortable
- numbness on the underside of penis is still there. I was told it will improve as blood flow to penis improves post formation of new veins.
- glans pains when fully inflated. This will take time as per my doctor as I was oversized. So I have no option but to wait it out.

Anyone who is early in his recovery should feel assured that it can change rather quickly.

Aside- I am continuing to share my updates on the forum even though I am not sure how many people are reading. But I do hope that it helps someone in future :-)

Great update Atul.

Good to know about the oversizing, I was oversized too, and I get very excruciating pain in the glans when cycling. Great to know that this is normal.

Merrix was oversized as well and he ended up gaining more than his pre-ed length, so I think the oversizing will be in our benefit.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Hey man, is inspiring to read about your recovery! I am only 9 days out but I think I have some helpful suggestions:

1) cycle 30 mins- 1 hour (i've been doing 1 hour twice a day and already seeing good results) this is Clavell's suggestion see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTV7Dazv6gI

2) (if single) I think having sex with a new woman would be good. A test run of your restored dick could do wonders for your confidence in all areas of your life. You can find escort very attractive escorts in miami on tryst.link and the nice thing about escorts is there is no pressure of liking them and wondering if they like you back or will reject you etc,

Thanks J!
Yes, it seems oversizing leads to a longer and more painful recovery but end result should be good. Wish you a speedy recovery too.

Thanks bro. I would love to increase my cycling time. I started with 5 mins and have slowly reached current 25-30 mins. It gets very painful around this time. Ideally would like to cycle a total of about 1.5-2 hrs during the day in 2-3 cycles.

Yes, I am technically single (divorce in progress). I don’t live in Miami and will return to my home country India. I do plan go visit Thailand or Philippines in next few months to test out the new tool :-) would appreciate fellow members for tips about these places :)
