AMS 700 Pump stuck up high

I had my implant on Feb 7th, and I had a lot of swelling for the first two weeks. My Scrotum was the size of a grapefruit, and my penis also swelled around the base of the glans.
My glans is still very sensitive, with some minor swelling that subsides when sleeping. Anything touching it feels like sandpaper. :(
Moreover, the pump seems to be stuck to the front of my scrotum. The skin is still pretty thick, making it impossible to find the deflate button. I've been trying to pull it down, and to also roll the skin to try to peel it free from the pump, but not having much success. After 2+ weeks I went to have it checked, and the nurse said it was looking normal, but with a bit more swelling than usual. She also could not find the button.
The doctor came in and also tried. I finally had to stop him, as it felt like my balls were in a vise as he tried to manipulate the pump.

I was advised against baths, but I'm now 20 days post op. I wonder if a daily hot bath would help loosen things up?

I'm interested if anyone else has had a similar experience. What, if anything needed to be done, and how did it turn out?

If your doctor has advised against baths then I'd suggest you try a small heating pad. Pumps sticking can be an odd problem some respond to gentle prying quickly, some are a lot slower. Within the realms of your doctor & your pain tolerance. I'd suggest to just be persistent in the gentle prying. They seem the break free on their own schedule.
Good luck.

It sounds to me like its been tacked to the front of your scrotum like mine was to hold into place for healing purposes. Do you got a preconnected unit? If so , they tack it as to not piss your testicles off i think. It will release itself eventually. Mine still wants to tip to the left when sack is cold, but when it's warm it lays down in my scrotum.

How do they do this tacking? Is it a dissolving suture or some kind of adhesive?
I'd think if a suture, that I'd feel a sharp pain from attempting to pull it down. Mostly it's a duller pain at the point my fingers apply pressure.

I haven't asked him yet, but i assume its sutured to the inside of sac, it then can form tissue around the pump to encapsulate it.

Damn, I wouldn't think the pump being encapsulated by excess tissue would be desirable.
I still can't feel the deflate button, and I'm wondering if it's twisted around on the backside.
I finally got a call back from the nurse, after 3 days, and she said to just leave it alone until I see the doctor again on the 29th. (Actually 7 weeks post op, due to his scheduled vacation.
I'm not particularly pleased with his responsiveness post op..
I just worry that letting it continue to adhere and grow to the scrotum will complicate things later.

The instructional videos clearly show the pump being free to move around, and mine is definitely not. :|

I,m actually facing the same issue. My procedure was on the 2nd of Feb. I had excessive scar tissue which made procedure longer than normal. at the first follow up to remove catheter, they said to have my "teach" appointment on the 5th of April. It was originally supposed to be on March 15, but I did have some complications and they decided it best to leave me fully inflated. Now in my fourth week, I can feel/see the pump is way high and is very uncomfortable. I was also told to not worry about it and it would be addressed on the 5th of April. I have no idea if they tacked it up there or not, didnt even know that was a thing

I am facing the same issue and coincidentally, I also had my procedure on the 7th of Feb. My Nurse advised to just wait until swelling goes down. My doc says sometimes he has seen it take up to the full 6 weeks for swelling to go down.

Thanks guys, sorry that you're also having issues, but it helps to know it's not just me, and also that waiting is a common tactic.
I am obviously anxious to try out my new member, but I also don't want to push it too far too soon.

Its called fixation, some guys get it more the others, my dr told me they do not “ tac” pumps its part of the healing process. I was the poster boy pump was stuck for almost the first year. It will improve with time. With some more the others. At 2 years my pump can be moved around, I can adjust to a new location if the scrotom becomes tender in its comfort spot. You are at the hardest part post op. Relax, it will be fine takes time to heal.
