Question about Size of Implant and Length

Postby Elfoose78 » Sun Feb 19, 2023 8:12 am

I underwent surgery Jan. 27th with an AMS 700 CX model. After suffering more than 10 years of Ed I lost significant length. I used to be 7.5 inches in length with significant girth. I would estimate that my most recent length was somewhere between 4.5 to 5 inches. I would assume that the loss of length was due to atrophy. However I retained my girth.

My surgeon informed me that he implanted me with 24 cm. My question would be is this a good size? Im three weeks into the recovery process and won’t begin cycling for another 3 weeks. While I’m not expecting a miracle in terms of regaining lost length I am curious to hear of everyone’s experience who have regained lost length from years prior.

Additionally I started my fitness/weight loss journey recently and wonder if the loss in weight will assist in providing additional length. I understand that weight loss doesn’t add length per se but more or less allows more of the penis to be exposed. Any insight would be incredibly helpful. Overall I want to maximize my implant to gain as much length as possible (if possible).

I got my Titan implanted on Jan 17th of this year. I lost about 1.5 inches in length but I am not worried.

If you go through the posts here on FT almost everyone had the same experience. Once you are cycling regularly it seems like everyone gets their length back of what they had right up to before the surgery. Many have grown even more over time.

Just relax, heal up, and do your cycling exercises and you'll probably be good as gold in the future. Apply your anxieties to taking care of yourself, losing weight, and gaining muscle. Make yourself the whole package and not just a big "package".

A good portion of your actual penis is inside of your body . Also ... if you have gained weight , the fat build up on your abdomen just above your penis will result in more of your penis being buried inside of your body . As the last past mentioned ... give it time to heal and for swelling to go down .

First I should say I'm not even positive I'm right about this, since a few days ago I also commented to another gentleman claiming his current size was about 5" and and he also got a 24cm (9.45") implant: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=21368

But unless someone can correct me, I think my reply to him also works as my reply to you:

Losses from erectile dysfunction from aging are totally not gone forever. Should be enough information in the first four sources explaining how VEDs work: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=18561&p=169469#p169469

Have you never used one? Also for the size you gave of being a 5" and wanting a 6", how the heck did you get a 24cm (9.45") implant? Note that I'm not an expert and misunderstand this stuff sometimes, but I'm not sure why you're assuming your earlier sizes are lost, and I'd think a 24cm implant is very capable of getting you back to when you were 8" before. I got a 24cm and I'm over 9" now. Someone explained to me how the length that goes below the pubic bone is different for some people, but still...24cm hoping for only 6"?

So, yeah. It's my (possibly flawed) belief that since you've got 24cm of implant inside your dick, that with proper cycling and VED use and Perito's THE exercise, the most likely outcome is you should regain the size you lost from atrophy due to ED, and possibly gain even a little bit more.

I should have included this conversation I had with my urologist in the other post too, because I think it explains that your surgeon must have measured your size at about the same as mine.

Meaning, if you got a 24cm implant, that is the accurate number of your real, actual size of your dick, from the head all the way to below the pubic bone, though exactly how much of it is below the pubic bone I do not know.

About fitness/weight loss, yes. I don't even need any knowledge or sources for that. Just get in good shape and stay there. Being physically healthy helps everything, including improving your mental health.

Don't judge your size for about 6 months. It takes that long to settle in & do its job. Btw, a 24cm implant is pretty long. Many men only get in the neighborhood of 21cm counting the RTE's which you don't mention getting any of them. That gives you about 1 1/4" more implant than many men.
Relax.

Great advice my brother. I never looked at it that way. Thank you.

It seems like the hardest part is being patient and trusting the process but I’m willing to put in the work.

In a perfect world I would get back to my original size. I’m going to follow the directions given to me by my surgeon when I follow in 3 weeks to be given the go ahead to start cycling. Tbh I’m just thrilled to have a firm erection after so long. I’m sure the length will come over time. Definitely looking forward to cycling and trying out the Perito exercises. I have a ved on standby ready to go. I’d be happy with 6 inches in length. Anything above that is a bonus.

Definitely looking forward to seeing where I’m at in 6 months. Even more interested in seeing progress a year from now.

The surgeon didn’t include any RTEs so the entire 24 cm is all implant. While I understand a portion of that length is located within the pubic bone I’m looking forward to seeing how much length will be present after everything settles.
