Apparently so...
Re: do mentally ill invade this forum?
Public forums attract all types. Hopefully we can steer them to resources that might help them. Other than that, ignoring might be the best policy.

The success of that coming from non medical people is slim. My experience with the mentally ill is that they know they have a problem & are frequently very hesitant to seek help.
Even getting decent medical help is difficult. It can take a very long time for a doctor to go through all of the steps to find the treatment that works best. Changing doctors can start that journey over again.
Be a good patient with your doctor. Think carefully before switching doctors.

Not really wisdom. Just life observations. Btw, help can be obtained. Truly cured is more difficult.

For what little its worth. I have a niece that appears to of finally grown out of it. Talks normally & has found some employment. My own daughter wasn't so lucky. She died of an aneurism perhaps short of the time it took her cousin to get better. I'm not saying she's cured but vastly better than before. Also, I do not know if she is on meds. I don't see her very often.
