Hello,

First time poster but long time lurker. I finally decided to pull the trigger on getting implanted. Mainly because I found a good Dr. not far from me AND because I'm finally tired of using a VED and or dealing with medicine side effects. I'm 38 and have been dealing with ED since 19 due to a dirt bike accident. It wasn't pronounced at first or at least that I noticed the first year after the accident. I was spending most of the year in physical therapy, healing, and self cathing (still do to this day) and was not worried about sex or masturbation that first year.

Until I noticed I couldn't get a full erection (just short of 21). Long story short, I've been on meds all of my adult life along with increasing the strength until neither 100mg Sil, 20mg Tad, started to not work as effectively (2020). I've tried trimix once and was not a fan. I've been mostly using a VED with a band paired with 5mg tadalafil daily and still doing so until implanted per Dr's orders.
I decided to go with the Titan Coloplast and genesis pump. Hoping to retain what I have left now and should per Dr. Clavell. My prior measurements before the accident was 7x6. Now I've held 5.75x5.5. I was 6x5.75 on trimix once.

Age 73. Started taking 5 mg Cialis daily in 2000. Minor ED started in 2021. Major ED problem started in 2022. Coloplast Titan (20 cm w/1cm RTE) implanted infrapublicly on 01/24/2023 by Dr. Edward Karpman (El Camino Urology Medical Group, Mt. View, CA).

Welcome. FT has so much information on ED. Glad you made the decision after so many years of the problem.

Best wishes friend. You likely don't know another living soul personally who has had this done. It's easy to feel very alone in this journey. Please continue to participate in the forum and know there are many mature and experienced men here willing to lend their support to you during this journey.
Active, athletic 63 years old. Sexually, still 33 in my mind and spirit. Pills and injections all worked, until they didn’t. Diagnosed with veinous leakage in 2022. Coloplast Titan. 22 CM. No RTE. Peno-scrotal. Implanted 1/4/23. Dr. Clavell.
