Is taking 4 weeks off work common? Many seem to suggest they were able to go back to work after 2 weeks?

It depends on what kind of work you do. I do lots of lifting and am in and out of my car several times a day.

I've only told my adult son & several close friends. We told everyone else that I had a hernia repaired. I feel like Clark Kent with this hidden superpower.

Thanks everyone! I'm amazed that some procedures are as an outpatient. I'm in for an overnight stay, hence the need to field lots of questions.

I told pretty much anyone I knew and most people who I didn’t!

My friends and family were aware of my Peyronies, I wasn’t embarrassed in the slightest as my dick still worked perfectly, it just couldn’t penetrate properly and I wanted my sex life back.

A year on, and in a happy relationship I have no regrets, and love talking about it - I get asked so many questions and get such a positive feedback.

Why would anyone be embarrassed by a bionic dick that gets harder than any natural erection and stays hard for as long as you want it to?

At 38, I am having the best sex of my life and have never been happier with my ‘machine’ as my girlfriend called it!
Implanted by Mike Fraser in feb 2022 due to a 80 degree dorsal curvature. 18cm Titan - way undersized. 8’ pre Peyronies, 6’ pre implant - currently 6’.

I said I was getting a hernia repaired. Everyone I told seemed to accept that explanation.

FYI--I was out of work for two weeks.

Other than my wife, I told my oldest son. He's the executor of our wills so I thought he should know just in case the funeral director approached him regarding cremation plans. Since then, I've spoken to a Mass funeral director and found it really doesn't matter about IPPs...just metal hip and other joint replacements, plates, etc.

I told my kids and my sister because they have been on this cancer journey with me throughout and are concerned. We are a close family and share each others health concerns. I feel sorry for people that don't feel they can share health issues with the people they love.

I told my kids I was having hernia surgery. If I said anything to son or daughter it would be out on the internet. I’m still deliberating telling my son but he would tell his buddies. Since I was on Coumadin Eid had me in the hospital 2 days prior to surgery. Wife and I were concerned about bleeding out and so was Eid.

I
Titan implanted by Dr Eid Due to Peyronies, Implant was the only option for me.
