LGX: How does it inflate?

Postby AtxGuy » Fri Feb 03, 2023 2:27 pm

Does it elongate before increasing diameter? Or does diameter increase first? Or do both occur at the same time?
I’m just starting to inflate mine and it seems to get to a certain size, the bulb gets harder, but I don’t feel any discomfort putting another pump or two in. When people speak of the discomfort of initial cycling, where do they feel it? What does it feel like?
(Sorry for stupid questions!)

I have the AMS 700CX 24cm not the LGX and when I first pumped up it felt like my dick was going to split open.

Definitely stretching out my penis.

Dear Atx:

Those aren’t stupid questions. Btw I’m a fellow 18 cm LGX recipient done by Kansas.

You might have to ask Shawn the PA. I “think” the expansion occurs in both dimensions at the same time, but you likely reach the maximum circumference (AMS has a limit) before you reach the maximum length.

I went thru a period of squeezing a hard bulb. Even if it didn’t feel like the bulb was doing anything, I was moving fluid and increasing the pressures in the cylinders which led to me getting my size back.

I had bruising from surgery, soreness, but no pain. Feeling of stretch from inflating, but it didn’t hurt/wasn’t unpleasant.

I ended up quite happy with Kansas’ work. I hope you get good results too.

The only thing I’m concerned with right now is the pump. It’s stuck bulb-up and it feels like a sheet of tissue is holding it up near base of penis. Feels like testicle is stuck to other side of pump block so that it is hard to press deflate with getting testicle as well. Right testicle is squished above it on the far right. I don’t know if this will break free on its own or if he can cut if free in office… but it’s making wearing underwear uncomfortable. I’ve got two weeks til my next appt with him, and then I’ll see what he says.

Your situation sounds awfully familiar.

You got done Dec 27 2022. I got done Dec 31 2019.

At this point, 3 years ago I was ~5 weeks in. Right about where you are.

The pump location was really worrisome. It was too high, the deflate button seemed to be pointing the wrong way, the pump felt like it had crashed into and was trying to merge with one of my balls.

You may look real good at the surface, but they assured me there was a lot of healing yet to be done on the inside. I think it was about week 8 that I finally said to Shawn, the PA:”ok, Shawn, what happens if gently pulling on the pump doesn’t bring it down and it stays stuck where I can’t get to it?” His answer was they can reposition it if need be, but it was VERY uncommon, and to keep doing what I was doing.

It’s funny how things get fuzzy in your mind, but sometime between week 8 and week 12 I went to bed and woke up the next morning and my pump had dropped to a very nearly ideal location and was facing in a direction where I could easily manipulate both the pump and deflate button.

I doubt they’ve changed the rules too much. I would ask “how soon do I need to come back for a follow up?” And they’d ask me “how soon do you want to come back in?” If this pump deal is troubling you, I’d call the clinic and see if someone (either the doc or the PA) could work me in for a quick look-see. Sometimes just hearing from the expert that everything is looking ok will make things better. Besides, they might want you to pull or tug and you want to use right amount of force coupled with frequency.

Getting on the schedule for post surgical assistance was never an issue. If you do go in tell them I said howdy and (if it’s Kansas) that LSU’s basketball team sucks this year.
