Age 72. On 5mg daily Cialis since ~2000. Minor ED started ~2 yrs ago. Major problem starting ~06/2022. Coloplast Titan Touch (20 cm w/1cm RTE) infrapublic implant done on 01/24/2023 by Dr. Edward Karpman (El Camino Urology Medical Group, Mt. View, CA).

Yes, I did have a drain. Do they even do no drain anymore? My doctor said if they didn't do a drain all of the liquids used during the procedure and the excess blood and stuff would pool up and take a really long time to reabsorb.

They did a drain for me and had to empty the drain several times during the night. That was only 9 days ago. No fluid build up in my scrotum but there was a lot of swelling that has mostly (but not entirely gone away) now.

Was just asking because, if you didn't, then that might have been the reason for your fluid build up but apparently that wasn't the reason.

I did not have a catheter or a drain. Iced heavily after surgery. Hardly swelled up at all. But i think somehow i got really lucky.
Active, athletic 63 years old. Sexually, still 33 in my mind and spirit. Pills and injections all worked, until they didn’t. Diagnosed with veinous leakage in 2022. Coloplast Titan. 22 CM. No RTE. Peno-scrotal. Implanted 1/4/23. Dr. Clavell.

A protective shell will surround the pump. I was having trouble cycling for the first few weeks. Went to the Doc and he burst the shell. Sounds like you may have accomplished that yourself. I'm ten weeks in and after lots of worry over the first 7 weeks, its working as advertised.
