Make a Curved Implant?

Postby ShouldIwait » Fri Jan 27, 2023 3:55 pm

Why cant they make the implant curved a bit like most natural erections? Would love if it bent upwards just at the last few pumps and looked more natural

Thinking some non/low stretching material glued along the top? Or just extra thick such that it expands less? Imagine a strip of tape on a long balloon. Tape would cause it to curve, particularly at highest inflation-that's kinda how my natural dick worked.

My AMS 700CX 24cm is actually curved more than when I was natural.

I know the cylinders are straight but for whatever reason I have an upward curve when fully pumped.

You should patent that. It will pay for a vacation home.

Not only an upward curve but an oval shape to the cylinders so the shaft of the penis maintains more of a round shape than the flattened shape. Not a big deal, but every small improvement helps.

YES! Been thinking of how that could work...

Nice idea but what would keep both implants oriented so the curve was always towards you? You'd be introducing not one but two failure points. This forum is currently populated by members whining about what they see as a high failure rate.
Can you even imagine the pain if one implant curved away & the other one curves towards you? Just my guess, the implant companies won't entertain this idea.

I agree. In addition, I would think that by adding a curve to the implant it would be a little like what Peyronie's Disease already does? Frankly I modeled out my slight dorsal bend a month or two following surgery after being okayed to cycle as it was a continuing reminder of the 25 years of lost time that I suffered as a result of Peryonie's.

Some cases of severe curves are actually rectified by using an implant so to create a curved implant on purpose doesn't seem to fit its purpose. Plus a surgeons job is to give you a FUNCTIONING penis. It's not a nose job or plastic surgery, it serves a purpose ( just my opinion )

---Cylinders are oriented by the tubes existing the corpora. Did you think they rotate randomly inside?

I also liked this idea and thought about how this can be done without affecting the rigidity of the implant or increasing the failure possibility.
One thing I thought of is the RTE. Making the RTE in the shape of asymmetrical cone can change the angle of the implant without modifying the cylinders. See the sketch.

The orientation of the cylinders is variable depending on the method the surgeon uses (infra-pubic or penoscrotal). Additionally, the orientation is further variable depending on the location the surgeon makes the corporotomy incisions. They can be made in a wide range of positions around the corpora, mine being about 45 degrees to the outside of straight down (penoscrotal).

Infra-pubic on the other hand, is inserted from the top of the corpora.

With this variability of insertion in mind, it would be almost impossible or at least infeasible to produce a product that could be properly oriented with so many possible angles of installation.
