Anorgasmic no more -- yippee!

I started a thread on glans engorgement some time ago and I thank all those who contributed
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=20987#p194428

I tried and discarded Trimix (way expensive and the aching!), Misoprostal (too tricky to prepare and burned), Viagra (no help)

I tried rings, but they also seemed to decrease sensitivity plus the 20 min limit was kinda scary

I tried pumping to only about 70% which helped some with not shrinking the glans but I lost an inch...

So I tried those methods/medications and have finally gained success in two ways: glans engorgement and regular great orgasms during sex ( I had not had a sex orgasm in 10 months, only through lengthy masturbations).
These are the factors I feel have made this possible:
-- after reading that VED use can desensitize, I quit using mine and, yup, gained sensitivity in the shaft
-- I started daily cialis
-- I take 40 mg of Vardenafil (generic Levitra) an hour or so before sex and get very significant glans engorgement -- even at 100% pumped -- and engorged glans gave me
greatly increased sensitivity, and at a very low cost
-- Nerve healing time -- have read in this forum that it can take up to a year for nerve healing -- I am at 11 months so that may be an increased sensitivity factor in itself

I must emphasize that this is only my personal experience which certainly may not apply to others, but I felt it was worth sharing.
Feel free to comment or send me a pm if you prefer.
My thanks to the brothers for ideas and opinions on this subject

Very good information. At 3 weeks postop today i’m very optimistic. I can feel the tingle of blood-flow when mildly aroused in both my shaft and glans. I do detect a certain numbness near the base of my shaft. Not alarmed since after all, there was an incision in the neighborhood only 3 weeks ago. Like you said, damaged nerves can heal, but like all of us im thankful for no dorsal nerve (what gives us sexual feeling in the penis, i understand) is untouched.

I intend to try your regime of 5 mg Cislis & levitar when the time for actual launch occurs in a few weeks. Thanks for posting.

The nerves healing is more than likely the reason sensations returned. Nerves regenerate slower than hair grows. It took me almost a year to feel like my sensation was similar to pre-ED days.

Outstanding report CrazyJoe!

I am 4 months out from surgery, and I am doing well in the orgasm category, but I still do not have complete glans engorgement. I can't take the oral medications because I can't risk losing vision in my one good eye. I was told there is an ointment that can be prescribed to rub on the glans to help engorgement, but frankly, I don't want to become dependent on it. I know how that goes, you try Viagra, and it gives you a hardon you haven't had in years, then pretty soon you can't get hard without it. I am satisfied with my orgasms, which certainly beat the alternative, and engorgement is getting better all the time. If the orgasms are getting better with time, I assume I am not completely healed.

To amansincali above: your interest in a possible ointment that could be rubbed on the glans reminded me that I had neglected to mention another med I have tried: Nitro Bid. It’s a very intensive gel in a tube that you rub on and it draws blood up into the glans. I learned about it from one of the brothers on the Forum. I tried it a couple times and I recall that it worked pretty well but it’s got nitro glycerin in it and if you use too much your heart will start racing so you have to watch it

While I’m on, want to thank all the brothers who posted very kind messages about my newfound success— greatly appreciated!
