I used injections for 20 years and my surgery went just fine.
Radical prostatectomy in 2002. Used injections for 20 years. Implanted (infrapubic) with AMS 700 on February 10, 2023.

FWIW, I had a massive plaque mass covering 2/3 of the dorsal side of my dick. It was easily felt and was even visible on one side. My surgeon was able to break up the plaque and install my implant. No signs of plaque, the curve and denting are now gone. My point being, is if a good surgeon can give a totally Peyronie's deformed dick like mine an implant, I can't imagine scaring caused by injections is insurmountable.
20 years of severe Peyronie's plaque, 90 curve, hinging and ED. Cost me 1.5" L and 1" G.
Implanted 2/18/21, AMS CX, 18 CM + 3 RTE, penoscrotal. Have gained 3/4". Gay, married, age 68.
