Re: Coloplast vs Lgx
This sort of reminds me of when I used to sell hot tubs/spas in my younger days. I represented manufacturer that made high end, deep and beautiful fiberglass 'portable' spas. They were extremely efficient, had numerous jets and an excellent heating and filtration system.
A competitor also had a well designed spa, it too had an excellent heating system, numerous jets and was very efficient. However, these spas were very shallow because they were made of one sheet of a plastic that was sucked into a shallow mold and formed into a spa. It couldn't be too deep or the material became too thin in the footwell (the deepest part of the mold). We referred to it as a "dog bowl" because of it's general shallow design.
Customers would come to see me and my product and it was easy to tell when they had already been to the dog bowl showroom. They would ask me if I could take a hammer and beat it on the inside of my fiberglass spa to show how durable it is, as the 'dog bowl' salesman had done that to his spa and told them to put me on the spot and ask me to do it to my spa.....
Easy answer, and applicable (in my opinion here), how many times did you plan on hitting your spa with a hammer during your use of it? If that's your intention, please buy the 'dog bowl', my spa is designed for real world function and beauty.
How hard do you need your dick to be? I haven't had my implant yet, but I've read nothing from anywhere at any point that either the Titan or AMS will not get as hard as anyone has ever desired. The opposite is true though, implantees often post about backing off from 100% inflated for the comfort of their partner and themselves.
Unless you're planning to cut glass with your penis, this is akin to beating your spa with a hammer. In the real world there seems to very little discernible difference between the two implants in terms of rigidity.

Re: Coloplast vs Lgx
Which is better? Toyota or Nissan? Coke or Dr. Pepper? FedEx or UPS?
Started the process with sort of a girthier-than-average dick ( 6” ). I just knew I wanted a Titan. A Titan might have been a better choice if girth was the only variable. The surgeon I decided to use is primarily an AMS fan. He told me he could fit me with an LGX and I would be pleased with the results. His preference for AMS is based on the antibiotic coating, the no-connections to make installation, what he swears is a better shape at the ends, and post implant reliability.
I’m past the 3 year mark, starting year 4. This LGX is still going strong. Yes, I wish I had all my girth back but oh well. I did get all my length back. This device has never given me any cause for concern or worry. When I wear this one out I’m not sure what we will want to do. In the meantime I love this thing. I don’t even think of myself as having an implant. It’s part of me now.
I’m not sure, reading other guys’ stories, if one is any better than another. I think allowing a surgeon to practice his art using whichever device he thinks will provide the best outcome is probably the way to go.

I do think that each device has its own purpose. True there are men who can have either device. But the fact is that the Titan has stiffer and heavier cylinders for men who have severe curvatures and damage. It is the best choice for men who need the stiffest cylinders. The LGX is best for men with size loss to help restore any size loss that is not permanent. The CX is good for mild curvatures and damage. The best thing is to go to a very good doctor that uses both brands and have that doctor determine the best device for you.

I think it is very safe to say that all three can get harder than most normal erections. The disclaimer to this is can or will you pump your implant up that much? Will your partner prefer a pumped level that is a little less than maxed pumped?
Also, remember that implants made of stiffer material can have troublesome "dog ears". But the LGX doesn't help treat peyronies very well.
I advise to talk your medical conditions over very well with your surgeon. If you do not have peyronies then you have more implant choices. If you do have peyronies then you'll likely need either a CX or a Titan. Both seem to treat peyronies well but I suspect that severe cases need a Titan.
In all honesty, if you're looking for implant model advice? You need to list any conditions that you have. Even then, the best advice will come from your surgeon.
