Oh man. I’m 20 days postop today, but i probably know how you’re feeling right now. Counting down the hours. Passing time. Keeping yourself relaxed as possible. Knowing your life is about to change.

At the moment, i’ll bet being 20 days itself feels like a long way away. I know it did for me, but here i am. Perfectly comfortable (i walked 3 miles this morning and will do it again this evening).

It’s kind of surreal, isn’t it? Staying in touch with us here, in the surface what connects us is…penises. But i see it as much more than that. I see us as a group of men who shared a certain suffering, ED. Most men will suffer in silence. I think this is the primary reason grumpy old men become grumpy. Not us! This is a journey to transcend that suffering, experienced uniquely by each us, but relatable to all here.

So, I'm currently in the surgical prep room at the hospital.

They let me use my phone while waiting to be taken up for surgery in about 1/2 hr.

The staff here is very thorough & efficient which is reassuring. A lot of attn given to antibacterial cleansing including the body, mouth & nose. Also currently on an antibiotic IV drip

So, just waiting for them to knock me out, put in the implant and, of course, wake me up.

I’m still at home in Florida being ambitiously lazy….just recovering. Officially 3 weeks post op today! Just finished about a 2 mile walk. Very comfortable now.

About 3 hrs post op.

Placed in private room w/a view & a TV. Brought me food but still don't feel like eating.

Mild discomfort & some nausea but not serious. A lot of nursing attn.

Dick is fully inflated but looked shorter to me. It's bandaged. So, don't have a good view of it yet.

Will get full view when everything is removed b4 discharge tomorrow.

They tend to tape the balls and dick all in one so will look smaller from that perspective anyway

Plus swelling even at the oubic bone is going to lose length from your viewm trust the process.

Don't rush things and it's all worth it

Rebz makes a good point. Your initial swelling will accentuate the sense your penis is smaller. Give it time. Way to early to tell anything.

Yes! Follow the above advice, don't even think about size for at least a month, you will just frustrate yourself. Just follow doctor's recommendations, he knows what works the best for the way he does his procedures. Stay ahead of the pain, take the pain pills as directed at least until the third day, you don't get any extra credit points for having pain.

FWIW, I'm not obsessed or worried about length at this point. Just mentioned it because I noticed it.

It is what it is and what ever it is I'll deal with it.

What did Karpman end up installing? Did he mention how the surgery went? Any post op instructions that seem to differ much from what you've seen on FT?

Coloplast Titan One Touch installed. Don't know what size yet

Karpman didn't speak w/me after the surgery. He will do that tomorrow. Told by nurse that it went well.

Post op instructions differ notably from others.

If Incision heals properly in 1wk,, should be able to start cycling during wk 2-3 and if all is well can start having sex starting wk 4.. I beñieve that's quicker than most.

Can start taking showers 2x/day 2 days after surgery and warm baths 2x/,day 3days after surgery using Hebiclens.

Continue taking Bactrin for 9 daysafter surgery and Colace,as needed, for up to 25 days after surgery.
