Not sure how showering/bathing would be a source of infection if you're using clean water and washing the surgical area w/Hebiclens as I was told to do.

But, he's your doc and it's best to do what he tells you do. However, if he was my doc, I'd certainly question it.

Good luck!

it may be that they use different stitches, or that each one has its own precautions

5pm 1/26: Justed peed & pulled the pump again.

Alot of dry dead skin on the scrotum. Not sure why. Still hard to ID the release button but pulling seems to be getting a little easier. No internal pain from pulling anymore.

Will end the day w/my 2nd shower & another dose of Bactrin/colace (and other daily meds) before hitting the sack.

730pm 1/26: 2nd shower 2day. Still stings when water hits the scrotum. There's a lot dead flaky skin down there wc is probablt why it stings but doesn't explain why there's dead & flaky skin there to begin with.why it.

Can take 1st bath tomorrow. Looking forward to that.

Day 3 Post-Op: 1/27/2023 830am:

Took my 1st bath post-op and it felt GREAT!

Not sure why doc said I should take 2 showers and 2 baths every day. I'm more a bath than shower guy.

May take 3 baths/day & 1 shower b4 "hitting the sack" aka "going to bed for you who know what I mean but don't like the sound of "hitting the sack." ;)

The swelling in my "sack" has finally started to drop and most of the dead skin (have to ask the doc about that) that developed on my scrotum was easily removed in the tub. Still some dead skin on the scrotum and some on the glans which should also come off w/more baths. I applied a mineral oil based lotion to the glans & scotum to restore moisture & flexibility to the skin there.

Also much easier to pull/position the pump while in the warm water, which loosens everything up. My pump is positioned exactly between and slightly behind the "boys." I've been pulling it down (as much as possible) each time I pee, shower and, now, bathe and the pump bulb is as far down as it's going to go. Just need to keep doing this to keep it that way.

-------------------------------------------------

I think I can feel where the deflate button is but still not sure about that. Swelling and normal tissue in the sack makes discerning it difficult. Won't know unless/until I can actually try to push what I think is the button to find out whether it's it or not.

One of the claimed advantages in Dr. Eid's videos was that the Classic Titan was that the deflate button is easier to feel/find. The Classic is also supposed to be quicker to inflate but it's also more noisy. Eid also prefers the in-line positioning of the Classic's tubes better than the triangular orientation of the One-Touch which causes more problems in the One-Touch than in the Classic per Eid. Won't know myself unless I get a revision w/a Classic which I'd ask for it any tubing problems develop w/the One-Touch.

Asked my doc about the Classic but he only wanted to implant the One Touch and saw no need to use the Classic.

I thought the main advantage of the One-Touch was that you just had to touch the button once in order to deflate the implant but when the PA was deflating it to 70% (86% is what I measured) she said you had to hold the button down to deflate. So, I'm confused about that now but it will be clarified as soon as I can start cycling.

-------------------------------------------------

While my dick still "looks" shorter (because of the swelling & only partial inflation), the girth looks visibily bigger even partially inflated. I was 5.5" around b4 surgery and it was 6" around when I measured it this morning.

While length is impressive to look at, most women's vaginas (like most men's dicks are only 6" deep/long), so the extra length doesn't help when the dick is inserted in the vagina. In fact, too much length can be painful for the woman if you're pounding her cervix w/it and unsatisfying for the man because you can never be fully inserted and touch pube to pube which was always one of the most existing parts of f*cking for me.

So, assuming I keep my original 5 3/4" (and maybe increase it a bit more w/time), the extra girth provided by the Titan should be a welcomed surprise for my GF. Well see . . . 8-)

I think it’s great that you are obviously not overly alarmed by the dead skin and other early concerns. (i had that too on my glans and around the circumcision line. Completely gone now.), and are instead already recognizing that you are another likely success story and your mind is already having thoughts of you, it, and your girlfriend in the near future! Happy for you man. Hang in there. Pun intended.

Thanks!

I try to be realistic and not alarmist in most things. If there's a serious reason for concern, I should be able to identify it and address it.

The dried skin was puzzling to me but not a major concern. Just wondering why that happened which I'll ask my doc about when I see him next Thu 2/2 for our post-op appt.

I'll also ask him about the scratches on my left & right hip (the scratch on my right hip broke 4" of skin and the 2 scratches on the left were longer but only broke a small spot of skin on my back) to find out how that happened.

I'm assuming it was due to them putting the jock strap on me but, since the med staff was so concerned about having any ocuts/scatches on my body, b4 surgery, I'm surprised that they would cause that kind of injury and not address it during surgery.

I'm still on Bactrin 2x/day and am treating the scratch w/H202 & Betadine each time after I shower/bathe and wash it w/Hebiclens when in the shower/bath, so I'm not worried about it getting infected.

Anyway, just about ready for my 2nd bath this morning. Going to do 3 today. :)

1/26 1230pm: Another 30 min bath. I loved it :)

Some more dry skin came off and pump required very little pulling. I'm using gradual stretch techinique, applying light but constant pressure while pulling on the pump for a minute or more Works better in a warm/hot tub.

Definitely taking another bath tonight & see no reason to shower unless I need to wash my hair.
