1/27 830pm: Took another bath tonight. 3rd for the day. Still a few flakes of dried skin shedding away.

Now that the swelling in my penis has reduced a bit, I've developed a "donut" around the site of the circumcsion scar which also happened after I use an oversized vaccuum tube to overinflate my penis.

The vaccum tube donut went away w/time as the penis returned to its normal size. So, I assume that my penis will become more "normal" in appearance as the swelling in the penis/scrotum continues to subside.

I've also developed a small bruise (which I didn't not previously noticed) just below where the drain hole was located.
and notice a bit of pain at that site that I didn't notice before as well.

Just took some Tylenol and Ibupropen to see if it relieves the pain/inflamation, generally and at this new site specifically.

PS: With the reduction in swelling, I just noticed that the length of my partially inflated oenis is now about 4.5" wc is now 78% vs 86% just a day ago.

Day 4 Post-Op: 1/28/2023 7am.

Took another bath this morning. Genitals look about the same. Measured the girth again which is 6" & the deflted length is the same as last night at 4.5". Still have the "donut."

Still getting slight headache/nausea when I wake up; goes away in an hr or so. Still painful to touch the infra-public area above the penis. Took Bactrin, Colace, 2 Tylenol & 3 Ibuprophen again this morning.

The gauze over the incision is starting to lift off. Coating the incision, drain hole & scratch on rt hip w/Betadine after I get out of the tub. Washing the entire genital area and scratch w/Hebiclens just b4 getting out of the tub.

Sounds like everything is going pretty well according to plan. I don't see anything out of the ordinary 4 days into your recovery. I know right now the novelty of it all is justifiably filling your mind. Not much else to do right now except just wait. I know that moment-by-moment feeling of the first few hours and days. All i can say is that here on day 25 for me those past days are now beginning to feel like a blur. One day blending into the next. I'd wake up each morning and I'd find myself saying "day 3. day 7, day 12, etc". ....and I still have a ways to go. Haven't even started cycling yet, but i remember on day ONE (surgery date) the thought of being over 3 weeks out seemed like an eternity, and now here I am.

Each moment and each day you pass is just one more day you'll never have to re-live again. Meanwhile, mother nature is doing what she does best. Heal.

So continue to be patient, relax in the knowledge that everything is going to be ok.

Thanks! That's the way I'm taking it.

It's not my 1st rodeo, as far as surgery goes. Actually, it's my 6th surgery, not counting CyberKnife radiation treatment for prostate cancer in 2010 that killed the cancer but preserved my ability to have sex for the last 12 years. Something prostate surgery often ends immediately and permanently at the time of surgery.

There are various theories that I've got about how my ED happened: 1) age, 2) damage caused by pumping and 3) the long term effects of the radiation. Doesn't really matter which was the cause but I think it may have been a combo of the 3.

Just glad that there was an option to fix the problem. ;)

I had a friend over for dinner last night. He’s 64 years old and he and his wife are very active in the swinger lifestyle. In fact, that’s where I met him. My swinger Dash wife and I will soon be divorcing, and though we met in that environment, and I have become the best of friends, frequently getting together for drinks and conversation.

one thing that has troubled him of late is his inability to keep an erection during those swinger kind of style experiences. He seems to have no trouble with his own wife, and concludes that his issue is psychological. But, I can tell he is concerned. And, he is keenly interested in what has been going on with me. when I first discussed with him my plans, he was shocked. Not knowing anything about it, he was of the view, as many people probably are, that my destiny would be to have nothing more than an inflatable dildo. Simply a mechanical, insensate device.

he has been in touch with me from the very first day, and last night with more than three weeks post recovery, he was astounded by my report. And my report was that the pain was minimal, that I can tell that I am fully Sense8 down below, and nothing but optimistic about my future.

I also have another friend, age 60, who has a colleague. He takes Trimix. But, he, too, is concerned about his long-term prospects and is also keenly interested in what’s going on with me.

I’m beginning to see myself as something of a pioneer here in my personal universe. You are likely the same. Probably nobody you know personally has done this. Nobody that I know has ever done it. and none of my friends know anybody that’s had it done. So, you and I and the others on this forum are guys who truly are the trailblazers.

I am of the view that the reason that grumpy old men become grumpy, is because of ED. My friend and I were discussing last night how if given every recreational opportunity in the world, such as golf, traveling in an RV, fishing, and we had to give all of those things up in exchange for a vibrant and active sex life, would we do it?

Without a doubt, we agreed, that we would not hesitate to put having a great sex life as pleasurable priority number one. There is no amount of golf, fishing, boating, or fancy cars that could ever take the place of a vibrant and colorful sex life as we advance into our years.

You have taken this step, and surely you realize that the outside world looks at guys like you and me with great great curiosity.

In a sense, our successful outcomes will truly represent hope for a lot of guys who suffer. And my friend and I did discuss this aspect. “Suffering”. We agreed that ED is truly a form of suffering.

This is probably true but I wasn't looking to be a "trailblazer."

I've always been sexualy active and the thought of not being able to "do it" again (regardless of my age) was unacceptable. I just wanted to solve a personal problem and this was the best option available to me. :)

Day 4 Post-op: 1/28/2023 10pm

Took 3rd & last bath for the day.

Think I'm getting better at identifying the deflate button on the pump

Reminds me of what a clit feels like.

LOL!!

Day 5 Post-Op: 1/29 9am

Bath #1 for the day.

May only take 2 baths today bc the NFL NFC & AFC playoffs are starting at noon my time.

Swelling & pain in pubic area has reduced a bit more and the donut has gone down a bit too. But the bruising remains unchanged as far as I can see.

If you're familiar w/cigars, it now reminds me of a NUB

Measured it again & it's back to 5" long x 6" girth. The reduced pain & swelling at the base allowed me to press all the way to the bone wc accts for the extra 1/4". So, the prior 4.75" measurement seems to have been in error.

Looking forward to an exciting day watching football! ;)

GO NINERS!!! :P

Day 5 Post-Op: 1/29 630pm

2nd bath of the day.

Nothing new to report, except that the Niners lost miserably to the Eagles. :(

PS: There is something that I need to add. At the end of the bath, I noticed rhat the pump had rotated about 90 degrees to the right, w/the deflate button in that direction So, I had to try to rotate it back to the upright position, wc I was successful in doing. Will have to an eye on that
