Implanted 12/27 - scrotum pain from tubes

Postby AtxGuy » Mon Jan 02, 2023 4:56 pm

I’ve been lurking here for a number of months, and finally got implanted 12/27 by Dr Kansas in Austin. The first week hasn’t been bad other than my scrotum. Surgery was outpatient with a drain left in, went to Drs office the next day for drain removal. By end of day my scrotum went to grapefruit sized. It’s finally come down in size, but I’m having localized scrotum pain where tubes coming out of pump press on scrotum… anybody have recommendations to minimize this?

Also a big shout out to whoever recommended baby socks! I’ve been wearing loose PJ shorts with an open fly with the sock and it’s worked well for my very sensitive glans.

AtxGuy-
It's going to ache for a while. They say full healing takes a year, but by 2-4 months all should be feeling good. I ached for close to 5 months. Another trick other than kids socks is Aspercream. A small dab smeared wherever it hurts will knock the pain down for a few hours.
