Implant with peyronies Dents/Indentations/Hourglassing

Just wondering, how many people hav been implanted who had dents/indentations and hourglassing?

How did the implant effect the dents etc? Were they filled after surgery, or after cycling? Did the shaft still have the dents and if so, how did this affect your rigidity and sex life?

Thanks

Hi,

I had peyronies (45 deg down mid shaft) that was fixed completely by Xiaflex (2018), but I still had ED. Nothing really worked for me except a VED/ring. I was implanted just over 2 weeks ago and the indents/ hourglassing I had are GONE - both inflated AND deflated. I'm still not back to my pre-implant size, but MANY on this board says that takes 6 months- 1 year. I have to say - I'm extremely impressed with how hard this thing gets.

Good luck on your journey! Everyone on here is awesome!!

Aussie,
I had a really bad case of Peyronie's. I originally had a 90-degree curve, which I reduced to 60 through hundreds of hours of traction and VED use. Additionally, I had hour glassing and hinging. Going into surgery, I still had all of that going on. The implant overcame all of it and my hard on is straight, no weaknesses and can get as hard as a steel rod. My surgeon spent a lot of time fracturing the dorsal plaque mass which covered 2/3 of my dick. I've even recovered a bit of the size PD took. Sex is incredible!

I had a flat plaque on top middle-right side that was between the size of a US nickel and quarter. This caused a dent at that location and about a 30 degree upward bend.

After the implant was installed, the surgeon inflated it to 100% and then modeled/remodeled my penis (layman's term, "he bent it hard against the plaque until it broke".)

I no longer have a bend (partly because I continued to remodel for several months after) but I do still have that small round plaque under the skin and when deflated, I can feel the sharp edge of the plaque if I palpate it (roll it around with my fingers, feeling for the edges).

Thanks for sharing. What do you mean by 'continued to remodel', are you referring to cycling?

No, if you check my posts from the first month or two after I joined FT, I still had a subtle upward bend that bothered me, so without the doctor advising to do so, I started doing the same thing he did, to bend against the upward bend.

Each time I cycled, I would get it to about 75-80% and then bend my penis downward against the curve. I could feel intense pressure against the top curved area when I did this (maybe some discomfort but not necessarily pain). After about a week or two, I had straightened my penis sufficiently that I was then satisfied, at which time I stopped remodeling and only cycled occasionally.

Thanks - me too! Good luck on the 7th - that will be my 2nd follow-up! Be sure to let us know how it goes for you! Also, don't hesitate to come back and ask questions! Tomorrow is week 3 for me. Things are starting to look normal again and most of the swelling and bruising is gone. I can only get about 5-10 pumps in. The only thing that's uncomfortable for me at this point is wearing jeans. I put my penis down inside my jeans and it's like it wants to spring up, so that pressure is uncomfortable. I can sit fine now though - just standing in jeans is uncomfortable. Ice will be your friend. :) Best wishes!

Thanks for that... One question - I notice people all asking about underwear, is it necessary to change underwear type/size, even after 6 months when things are almost normal? Can you just buy a larger size to accomodate for the larger flaccid, or do things every get comfortable again?
