Hey guys,
Implant date was 12/14 (12 days ago). First off, super bummed about sizing. In a VED I could reach 5.75 length without issue, 5 girth. I had lost some size due to peyronies and scarring (originally about 6×5.5). Dr. implanted 15cm+1RTE (about the smallest I've seen posted). Anyway, post implant I'm at about 4.5 (been too sore to check girth, but seems decent, although inconsistent from base to shaft - base much thicker - tubing?).
1st follow up was 8 days post. Dr said things look good and had me begin cycling, but I have a few questions I thought I'd post here before writing to my Dr.
Is it normal to not feel fully deflated? I feel half-hard all the time and it's uncomfortable to wear jeans. I squeeze to deflate and feel a buzzing at first, and momentarily while squeezing the penis, but then it stops and doesn't get any less rigid. How can I determine if I've been sized correctly?
I can only seem to get 5 pumps in before it's inflated. I can keep pumping though, 4-5 times, but it never gets any longer/harder.
I want to get size back - I'm cycling 2x a day for an hour, but any time I try to use the VED it's sore due to the penoscrotal incision/stitches. How long until this heals? I fear I can't use the VED until then.
I also feel I have a lot of excess skin - even when fully inflated - I never used to have this.
I've tried stretching a little up, down, left, right, but I haven't watched the Perito videos yet.
I still have Cialis. Is there any benefit to taking daily dosages still?
I'm open and thankful for any/all advice. Thank you!!

Relax, 12 days is nothing.
My doctor told me NOT to pump it up or fool with mine until the 6 week follow up.

Lol, OK. When should I be concerned, then?

Welcome to the brotherhood! At day 12 it is WAY too early to be bummed as Keith mentioned. The first time I pumped mine up - at six weeks - I had the same feelings you describe. WTF - is that it? I could only force maybe 6 pumps in and felt I was considerably undersized.
I noticed at the six-month or so mark, things were going to be fine with consistent cycling and Pierto exercise. Today, at the year and a half-mark, I think I am finally maxed. Yes, I was (am still?) continuing to stretch out and grow a year and a half later and I am very pleased with my implant's size and performance. I personally feel I am double the size of my first-ever pump-up - the first pump-up was less than 10 - I now chamber 35 for a diamond cutter.
Yes, it is normal to not feel totally deflated. That's probably my only 'issue' if I had one, my dick is permanently harder than my natural one. Nothing I can do about that, but I only half give a care really as the positives far outweigh any negatives. Yup, wearing jeans is a challenge - research 'underwear' and/or 'concealment' if you think that might help you. I am with other guys on this site, some women have big breasts and wear them proudly so why can't I just be me?
Stitches etc. - ask your Doc but at 6 weeks you should be clear? Good luck, enjoy the ride, and cycle, cycle my man!
EDIT: I see you received the LGX. I think you can rest assured that you will need that extra skin you have there, lol. I know I did. Cialis is good if it agrees with you - often helps with glans engorgement

Re: Wrong sizing/half-hard?
The folks who said “don’t be concerned at 12 days” are spot on. You then asked just how long before you get worried.
I wouldn’t worry at all, what’s done is done and you can’t get the genie back in the bottle. But from personal experience, with an LGX, no significant complications…I saw most of my gains between 6 and 12 months after surgery.
Even now, at 3 years, I swear I can feel a bit of stretch if I put a few extra squeezes on the bulb. I ended up with a loss of .05 inches of length. That’s not a loss, that’s a measuring error. I did lose .4 inches of girth but I’m so damned happy with this thing and how well it works and 3 years without a hiccup, I don’t give two shits about a minimal girth loss. 5.6” of girth is not exactly a needle dick, it looks great, I’ve got a better erection angle than I did at age 17. What’s not to love?
Patience, cycling, using it as often as you can…..are the magical things that’ll bring your old dick back.

Welcome to the brotherhood. First some good news. Your doctor activated you at 8 days which is an indication the doctor is current with reports that show a relation to size loss and long waits for activation. So I would follow your doctors instructions to the letter. Ask your doctor before doing anything that was not instructed. Infection is at the highest risk now and will reduce over the first year. After that the risk stays at an extremely low rate. If your doctor signs on with the stretching exercise or VED use then you are good to go and follow your doctors instructions. After your incision is healed and you are released from the doctor you can decide if you want to go against your doctors instructions and try some other methods. I used pump adding cycling where I would add pumps every 5 minutes or so. I am surprised you are at an hour already. It took me some time to build up to an hour.
The recovery for this can take a very long time. I even had gains in length out past 1 year. I told myself I would not judge the outcome of this until 1 year after surgery. Think of a knee replacement. Takes some time for everything to recover. Sure you can walk in a short time but it is much longer until all the stiffness is gone. Your pump is self-lubricating and the more you use it the easier it will be to operate. I had trouble with my pump working correctly. The valves had trouble switching fully and some fluid would go back in the cylinders in deflate mode. I would pump until the bulb popped indicating I was in inflate mode and that would lock any fluid from going back in the cylinders. With my long pump adding cycling my shaft was sore and I had some discomfort from dog ears and would put in enough pumps to be comfortable. Now the pump is working well and I just press the deflate button until I fell the buzz after I release the button. I do not squeeze my penis any more it just deflates on it own.
The base of my shaft is much bigger than before. I was really narrow at the base and much larger 1/2 to 3/4 up the shaft. That changed with the surgery as the cylinders are rhe same size end to end, In many cases a doctor will use no or as few RTE's as possible. This results in attachment point of the tubing to the cylinders being down inside the corpora. Some doctors like to have the attachment point to exit the incision. This results in more RTE's and different way of measurement.
I too have extra skin. I even had scrotal webbing removed with my surgery. You have 3 erectile bodies in the penis and the IPP cylinders only take care of 2. If you are having glans engorgement with sex some of that extra skin may go away. If you no longer have glans engorgement you may want to try ED meds and see if that helps. Another question to ask your doctor about. But follow your doctors instructions as to when you are cleared for sex.
Good luck going forward with this.
Injections failed. Implanted 3-21-18 AMS 700 LGX 21 + 1 RTE 100 cc reservoir 6.5" L 5" G Dr. Kramer.

I too was worried about all that skin. I looked like I had not been circumcised, and thought that’s no what I wanted. I got a couple pumps is at day 2, and at day 27 now I can get 10 in and then wait and get a few more. I’ll be glad to finally get in the tub of hot water to soften the implant up a bit and get a few more pumps in. Glad to read your post
