Re: recently implanted titan
I may have missed it, but has it only been less than a week since you were "implanted"?
The surgeon seems like a nice caring guy, but too much of this seems to show incompetence.
The staff also seems incompetent.
I hope all of this works out, but the unevenness of the tips also worries me.
Did you get "snake eyes"?
What's with all the bleeding even post-op?

Re: recently implanted titan
Wolf,
What a horrific story! I can imagine going through something like that!
One thing I was told years ago is that the human brain cannot recall pain, you can remember you had pain, but when it is gone it is gone. Thankfully that part is over for you.
Your surgery sounds like it was far from normal, so your recovery may be a long one, just follow your doctor's orders and keep an eye out for infection.
The men on Frank Talk are a great group of guys who want to see you get your desired results. Post your questions and I am sure someone will have an answer for you. The search function works very well and often you can find your answers faster doing searches.
Best of luck to you and please post your progress and hopefully your final reward.

Re: recently implanted titan
Thanks for being positive Amans. In no way am I tryin to scare off anyone.
None of this stuff that happened was even on my radar except for infection risk. Everyone getting an implant faces infection risk so knew that. Who could imagine would being without pre agreed pain meds for post op penile implant surgery. Acetaminophen can only do so much man!
At this point more than anything else my family and I are still trying to wrap our head around how so much stuff clearly communicated and agreed on either was never heard or for some reason ignored completely if it was heard.
just joined but the posts Ive read are positive and full of great info.
Though the ones telling a straight guy to just get over his lady not putting out by screwing guys gave me my first real laugh in a week! The Guys do seem very up front, swinging couples, group sex etc!! Lol
Fingers crossed and thinking good thoughts here

Re: recently implanted titan
Going to be discreet about the surgeon for because so much happens and know one seems to know why. My pain meds were ending up at some random pharmacy 85 miles from my house, 25 from my surgery hospital, and also no where near the doctors practice is one reason and no one seems to know what happened so far.
The missing pain meds the dr also told the discharge nurse in front of all of us to give me for the 100 mile ride home in a pickup truck is another we’re never given to me.
The pre agreed upon between myself and the surgeon backup pain script for oxy never did turn up.
Fell sleep passed out sweating on two beach towels from pain the first 2 nights.
Also because I like my surgeon and have a lot of confidence in his actual surgery skills. So trying to focus on his surgery outcome more than the wack happening all over the place. Hopefully he and his practice staff can learn from all this but that’s if they listen and adapt, AND not listening a whole lot seems to be the huge overriding problem.
Of course surgery outcome is the most important thing. This type of surgery has some of the highest stress both for the surgeons and the patients. Penis implants are certainly not a double d boob job done for cosmetic reasons.

Re: recently implanted titan- my surgery day story
As far as your whole medication fiasco, my experience was different. The surgeon sent all the prescriptions to my local pharmacy a week before the surgery. The antibiotics were out of stock but it didn’t cause any worry because the pharmacy had plenty of time to order them in before I actually needed them. I had my pain meds, antibiotics, stool softener, etc. all lined up on the bathroom vanity before leaving home for the surgery. Surgery day is stressful enough so having the follow up meds in advance is one less thing to worry about. Something to consider if you ever have other elective surgeries.
As for the bleeding problems, was your surgery Infrapubic or Penoscrotal Approach? Mine was Penoscrotal and I didn’t have a drain so much of what you’re describing sounds foreign to me. If it was Infrapubic, was the incision vertical or horizontal and was it closed with stitches or staples?
I think these are important details to some of your questions.

Re: recently implanted titan- my surgery day story
I asked about "snake eyes" because you said it didn't look like the tips went into the glans on both sides.
When the surgeon inserts the cylinders, he's supposed to poke holes in each side of the glans and pull the cylinders completely into the glans.
I don't know anything about whether plaque could form there and prevent this from happening.
If there are no signs of where the snake eyes should be, maybe they didn't perform the procedure properly.
I'll try to add some info about the procedure.
It says the PDF file is too large, but I know I've posted it before.
