Depends on your threshold for the the definition of "spontaneous".
I can go from flaccid to erect in about 45 seconds. So being ready at the drop of a hint from my partner is spontaneous enough for us.
.......

I think that it is frequently forgotten that even a natural erection takes a little time to grow. A few pre sex activities cover up the time that it takes a natural erection to happen.
LS, if your erect after 45 seconds of pumping? I bet that you're equal to or faster than most natural erections.
Geez, it takes most women longer than 45 seconds to drop their pants & get onto their backs. You are the first person at the party.
If any foreplay is involved. Then pumping during the foreplay time guarantees that you're ready in time for the fun.

I think it's really important to remember, that most of the guys posting here either are contemplating an implant or have some kind of issues with their implant. the 95% who have had their surgery have had successful outcomes and therefore do not see the need to re-visit or at least post.

Like any surgery it comes with risks and it is up to you as the patient to weigh up those risks against the benefits at the other end.

Injections might work for you currently. that's great. But they are inconvenient, painful and will become less effective over time. Not only this, but it is likely you are not getting NTE meaning you will likely lose size over time due to atrophy.

I am 37, and got my implant earlier this year. I had severe Peyronies which meant intercourse was nearly impossible although i could get decent erections. I was in a position whereby i could get erections but not really do an awful lot with them with a partner. For me, it has been a game changer. In fact, dare i say it, a life changer.

In answer to your questions:

1) No, i wouldn't say my penis goes particularly soft, and no it doesn't feel like a normal flaccid. However, it is more than twice the size now and i love standing at the urinals knowing i have what most other men don't! And it absolutely does not look like an erection. Maybe a bulge sometimes but it looks like i am just well hung.

2) Possibly, but who cares. I am open and honest about my implant and the consensus has only ever been positive about it. Honestly, give me one good reason why a woman would be turned off by it?1

3) As above

4) True, but similar to a lot of surgery. However, each revision should make your dick bigger.

5) Of course you can! Mind you, i can't say i'm particularly inclined to go to a nude beach or sauna anyway!

6) WRONG! Temporarily shorter, definitely not thicker. I am now a little longer than pre implant and quite a bit thicker. 6.5' is more than enough for me and my partner.

7) Compared to my 90 degree bent pre op penis, anything was better than it was. However, as it goes, mine looks pretty damn normal shape wise.

8) Never got or understood the cold dick thing. Mine seems perfectly happy and warm at home.
Implanted by Mike Fraser in feb 2022 due to a 80 degree dorsal curvature. 18cm Titan - way undersized. 8’ pre Peyronies, 6’ pre implant - currently 6’.

I’m a 61 yo MD with ED >5 years the peyronie’s for 3 years. Pills worked at first but now with a 60 degree curve injections are contraindicated and even if I can get erection sex is difficult to say the least. Even if the disadvantages you list are true it would be better than what I have now. Getting implanted Feb 7, 2023

Dude, this thing rocks!! Took the Mrs. 2 months to get used to it. She loves it! And from what I've read on here most women do also. Way i see it most men are to big of pussies to do it. But when you've stopped working completely you either give up or march on. I don't regret it for a second!

I found this site by Google. I'm on injections, but i hate the route of secretly injection.
So none of my dates know i'm injecting

I thought an Implant was a good alternative. I read hours of posts. But have to say i think it's a bad idea. I don't understand how you can be happy with an implant.
So many disadvantages:

1. Your penis don't get really soft. So people see you always with an erection.
2. When a women touch your balls she feels a 'lego-brick'
3. When a woman grabs,/sucks your cock she feels the tubes
4. Many revisions during lifetime
5. You can't go to the sauna, nude beach or gym
6 You get a shorter thinner penis which women don't feel
7. You get a weird shaped penis
8. You get a cold penis

I think i will stay on the injections. It has also disadvantages, but not as much as an implant

You know if your married and don't plan on going to a nude beach all these arguments go away. Yes you might have to have a revision in the future but you either (A)don't have to or get or (B)get a new one and you've got another 10+ years. Tell me what else last 10 years?
And if your single that's up to you to decide but I don't think it would be a problem.
That's fine if you choose to stick with the injections but I think you risk getting peyronie's disease. And if your single I don't see how you excuse yourself and go spend 5-10 minutes for the injection without having to explain. Doesn't ruin the mood?
69 years old. Had Full ED for 3 years. Tried pills and injection.
Had my infrapubic implant surgery March 17 2023 with AMS 700 LGX. (so far so good)
