Update: Four Months after Implant

Postby Tokyo_123 » Tue Dec 06, 2022 11:27 pm

It's been four months since surgery. To see the back story, head to here.
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=19941

Good News: I was finally tested for Venous leakage, and mine was severe. Nothing but an implant could help my condition. This knowledge gave me closure to the issue. I believe that the venous leakage was due to my Bathmate VED that I would use for 25 minutes/day, four times a week. I believe that this overusage caused the Venous leakage.

After surgery, never had any pain, at all. Never needed to use ice. Never lost any sleep due to the implant, except for the night before surgery, when I could not sleep. After surgery I was fine. Perfectly normal. Issues I've had however is that I could not urinate for two weeks after surgery. Had to self catheter. That said, doing self catheter with an implant inside of you is a thousand times easier than w/out the implant.

Today, I no longer have frequent urination. Pre-surgery I used to wake up five or six times at night to pee. Now however, I wake up only once. This is, I have no doubt, due to the implant straightening the D, causing it to be rigid, straight.

The 15 hour return flight from Houston to Tokyo was completely uneventful. No pain. I flew regular class with a $200 upgrade for added legroom. The only very minor issue was at Houston airport TSA stopped me when going through their scanner. When I went through and got called out, I proclaimed loudly that I've got a D-Implant ......., and the woman doing the scanning said "I can't take this sh*t anymore." :D

Bad News: It took me a long time to figure out the Titan deflation. Think I finally got it, but even today it takes me a bit to do. Also, I feel it's slightly short and a couple of CMs were left. I've never felt any stretch when inflating. I will see another doctor soon about this. That said, there is no floppy glans or anything. The unit is on, solid. Other slight minus is that yes, the titan is large and does stick out. To remedy this, I wear a front fanny pack to hide it (and couldn't live w/out my Separatec underwear). Overall, I like the way the Titan feels, and like the added size when flacid. In short, I like going from a grower to a shower.

Total cost for surgery, travel, hotel, etc. was under $20,000. Was it worth it: Yes.

Tokyo, if you’re just at 4 months don’t be depressed or too much concerned. You had the best surgeon and you’re still very early.
I was 7” prior to surgery and I got a 20 plus 1cm implant, at initial pump I was 5-3/4.. by 4 months I was about 6-1/4 and now at 6 months I’m a full 6-1/2 plus a little at times according to glans swelling. Do the perito exercises and do your pumping exercises daily and it will come back.
As mentioned at initial I was depressed, at 2 months a little better at 4 months I was ok with it and now at 6 months I’m VERY happy and content if it stays this way for the duration of the implant. Who knows it should get a little longer over the next year. Also I’m almost a 1/4 bigger in girth than ever in my pre implant VED or trimix injected size. Be patient, it gets better!
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast with Classic pump 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong

Apologies if I gave that impression. I am overall very satisfied with the operation and would do it again in a minute.

I've found doing the Perito exercises difficult. Bending it when it's fully inflated am worried about breaking something. I'll keep at it, however. Still getting used to it.

Hi Tokyo, good to hear you are happy with your implant.
But.... Your bad news scares me a lot. You have a 24XL Titan and say it's slightly short and a couple of cm's were left. What was your pre-op and post-op size?
Wearing a fannypack would impossible for me. I work as a nurse in scrubs with female co-workers and being around children. Can't wear a fannypack, but a dick sticking out will be a big problem.
Do you think there is another way to handle the large flaccid?

Thanx

Glad you're doing well. I was still sore at four months.
Your flaccid will ease up some in the following months. Deflating the Titan is a learning experience. I hold the deflate button down while I squeeze my shaft. A layer of towel over my shaft makes it easier to handle. It takes 30-45 seconds to get most of the fluid back into the reservoir. Then I give the pump one or two pumps to lock the valve to prevent auto inflation. To answer Flexwheeler a Titan will give you a bulge. At first it will be larger, but even at three years my bulge shows in underwear or sweatpants.

I do have a jock strap that I got on Amazon and wore those for a while. Personally I like the front fanny pack more. I put in it a pen, my wallet, iPhone, iPhone charger, few tissues, etc. I look at it like women having their shoulder bags, except for males. If you're really worried, I guess you can get an AMS unit which is smaller on the flaccid. Recall that Doctor Eid said he don't recommend using AMS unless you've got a smaller unit.
