It’s a done deal
Well, I’m bionic. It’s about 6:00 and I’m going home. Everything went ok, only a few issues with my BP, some meds in the IV took care of that. The most discomfort is the place where the reservoir went and it’s just mildly uncomfortable. DR appointment in the morning to remove the catheter and find out all about the new tool!!

Congrats brother. I’m cleared and cycling now myself. You’ll be there before you know it!

Made it through the 1st night ok. Took one pain pill when I got home from the surgery. Just a little uncomfortable right now and it’s mostly the reservoir. Dr appt this morning for deflation and removal of catheter. Ended up being implanted with an AMS CX 18 cm.

Congrats and welcome to the bionic life!
The reservoir was one of my sore spots too. You might have a day or two asking yourself what did I let them do to me, but remember that won't last. Stay ahead of any pain as best you can, if it gets over the top it's hard to get settled again.

Congratulations on joining the club. I had some discomfort and burning sensation around the reservoir for about 3 weeks. The discomfort will go away and you and your wife will enjoy the heck out of your new penis. Follow the drs orders and enjoy it.

Doctor visit went well this morning. Took the bandage off, the catheter out and deflated me. Man that feels better. Dr told me to start pulling on the pump to get it down lower

Bad,
For the first. 3 or 4 days I had the most discomfort where the reservoir was placed, after that it never bothered me again. I am a fairly fit guy without a large layer of fat and I can no longer can feel the reservoir. The others are right, stay ahead of the pain medication for at least 3 days, catching up can be hard on you. Take the pain meds as directed by your doctor for at least the first 3 days, you are still benefiting from the IV pain meds you got during surgery. I know what you mean by the relief you got from being deflated the first time.
Someone on FT posted that it is best to lay flat as much as you can for the first few days, no sitting, lay flat or in a recliner, this keeps your body’s fluid pressure lower in the wound area and keeps the swelling down. I did this for the first 3 days and I think it really helped.
I have always had good luck with ice when I have been injured, after the surgery I tried to ice the reservoir area, but when I put an ice pack on that area I had immediate pain. I discontinued the ice therapy on everything and followed the recommendation to lay flat and I think that helped more.
It sounds like you are doing great!
