No feeling of pressure or stretch on the penis when inflating it. It is normal?

Postby on the road of life » Sun Nov 20, 2022 4:54 am

I'm barely in the fourth post-operative week. In the third week I went to my appointment to learn the use of the implant, it was inflated once, but it took a while to deflate it, according to the doctor due to some edema around the pump, however, the doctor authorized me to try it at home. And I must return for the fifth week.

The bulb is very, very hard, so I can only press with micro pumps, not from wall to wall, but I manage to inflate the prosthesis with many micro squeezes and I am already learning the trick to deflate.
When I inflate, there comes a point where I can no longer squeeze, I move my penis a little, like Perito, and I can place another pump.

The detail that seems curious to me is that I see the penis erect (not with the pre-operative size, but I'm not worrying about that right now, well, not much at least) but I don't have the feeling that it is erect, that is, I hardly feel any pressure or stretching of the tissues. I don't have any pain either.
My sensitivity from a sexual point of view is preserved and asking for action, hehehehehe

Did this happen to you?
Do you see it normal, at this stage?
Those who have gone through this initial stage, what do you think is happening?

I didn't start inflating until 34 days after my surgery. For the first few days I thought mine was worthless and ineffective - neither my size nor my hardness changed at all. Yes, your lack of feelings is normal. Takes time to break it in. About 50 days until I was getting "gains." It gets better.

Try using some heat. A heating pad or hot shower. Follow your doctors instructions about when you can take baths. If you don't know ask as you can cause an infection. I found dry heat from a heating pad works best. These devices are made very tight to last a long time and are self lubricated. That means the time spent waiting for activation and not being used can cause the valves inside to be sticky. As you use it with heat to help free thing up it will soften and become easier. And over time you will heal and develop places of scrotal skin that work best for inflating.

Good luck

Roadie,

I don't think what you are experiencing is abnormal. My pump was as hard as a marble when I first attempted pumping and made me really sore in the tissue between my fingers and the pump. It seems everyone complains about how hard the pump is in the beginning, unfortunately, the only fix is to pump more. If the scrotum tissue I mentioned starts getting sore, let it rest a day or two, this is not going to affect anything in the end, some doctors don't even let their patients pump for 4 to 6 weeks. Some guys have been cleared to pump in a matter of days, but I think those are the guys who get their incision in the pubic area. You are not getting pain because you are not pumping all the way yet.

After a few weeks of cycling the pump will be much softer and you will be able to get more complete pumps. As you are able to get more complete pumps you will feel an ache in your penis, this is also normal and is the sensation you get when you are stretching the tissue. After you heal some more, this should be your goal at each cycling. Let it ache for a while then deflate and ache will go away.

Don't worry about your size! You still have swelling and that makes your dick look short. You are going to end up with what God gave you, probably no more and probably no less. My wife says, "Women don't care, the sensitive area is only 2-3" in." Anything else is just bragging rights, it has nothing to do with sexual satisfaction for either of you. I am 8 1/2 weeks out of surgery, and I measured today for the second time. I am exactly where I was before surgery and my wife says I am the same in girth. Don't waste your time worrying about your size.

You sound completely normal to me.

I’m at 6 months and to date I’ve never felt any stretch as in length.. also do the full inflation to a point of very hard and then do perito exercises and usually get another couple 1/4 pumps. I have however gotten back 1/2” of the one inch plus that I lost. Only pressure I feel is in girth just below my glans… definitely a stretch in a girth direction.. I’ve gained girth over my original health penis by about a 1/4”. I’ve always felt I was shorted about 1-2cm in length, as I’m still almost a half inch short… don’t get me wrong I love my new dick and can’t remember ever having such a hard tool!! No regrets!!!

I'm exactly the same. I feel no stretch in length after inflation. I inflate it as much as I can almost daily. My feeling is that I may have lost a cm or two in size. However, it's hard as can be, definitely usable.

I use a small wet towel, which I heat in the microwave, I put a small dry towel on the scrotum and then the hot one, it works for me and loosens the scrotum, which in my case is small (not me, I'm 184cm / 6' 1/ 2") and is normally contracted.

Yes, in fact the coloplast manual calls it sticky bulb, which is caused by lack of lubrication.

I'm using the thenar eminence of the palm (thanks to google for giving me the name, LoL) to support the pump and squeeze with the rest of the fingers, it uses the forearm muscles and develops a lot of strength, but for the new of the bulb is still very hard, sometimes I switch to thumb, index and middle finger but it is less effective and easier for the bulb to escape.

My scrotum really doesn't hurt.

For now I've had to do it lying down, because standing up the pump hides a bit from me, I'll have to practice more.
thx
