Angle with implant

Postby Captain1117 » Sun Nov 13, 2022 9:36 am

Question for implanted guys.

When inflated do you get at least a 90-degree angle while standing and having sex?
Is there any other factor that decides the angle of the erect penis with an implant?

Thanks

This is a good topic and I’d like to see some answers. I’m not sure anybody really knows what factors contribute to erection angle post implant.

First of all, I guess I need to orient myself. 90 degrees is a right angle, perpendicular to the body and parallel to floor if standing. Greater than 90 degrees points downward, less than 90 degrees has an upward tilt.

If that’s true, then I am not quite 45 degrees. I’m not taking a protractor down there. Bad enough that I’ve been known to use a ruler or measuring tape. But my surgeon left me with a nice upward angle, well north of 90 degrees but probably not a true 45. Call it 60.

If I squeeze my pelvic floor muscles I can make it look (to my wife, anyhow) like it’s throbbing. Is it any wonder I love being bionic? It doesn’t get better than this.

I’m just 2 days post implant so this isn’t from experience but taken from the post operative instructions my surgeon gave me.

“ In the first weeks after the surgery, scar tissue will form around all components of the penile implant. It is imperative that the penis be maintained in a straight position during this time. This will involve keeping the penis pointing towards the umbilicus ( belly button) using the athletic supporter provided. For more comfort, wear the supporter over soft underwear.”

I was told to do this for the first couple weeks to allow scar tissue to form around the base while maintaining an upright angle. So it’s my understanding that the only time you have some control over erection angle is during the first couple weeks after surgery. Once the scar tissue is formed, it is what it is.

Great result. Was your surgery infrapubic or penoscrotal?

Was your operation penoscrotal or infrapubic?

Mine was penoscrotal and the tension in the wound was quite annoying when trying to place the penis upwards

Thanks for sharing.
I will keep the securing upright post-surgery aspect in mind.

In a few porn clips, some guys could move their penis(like flexing a chest muscle) up and down. I assume that has hot to do with pelvic floor muscle conditioning.

Does the surgeon's skills and or implant rigidity has anything to do with the angle?

Mine was Penoscrotal. I was discharged with penis wrapped and secured straight up with an athletic supporter.

Infrapubic.

Some have speculated that the way my surgeon Implanted me (18 implant + 5 Rte) may have had something to do with it but I don’t know. I do know that my measurements were 16 distal and 7 proximal so I only have 2 cm of implant in the crus, the rest is RTE. I also know that I’ve got visible, measurable penis implant of about 16.5 cm from the pubic bone to palpable end of implant in glans.

I wonder if infrapubic might be better for conserving erection angle, since it keeps the supporting tissues underneath the penis more intact than a penoscrotal incision.
