Coloplast Titan Implant Not as Hard when Inflated

Postby Mikey29466 » Fri Nov 04, 2022 10:19 am

I am a 57 year male that had prostate cancer two years ago and recently had implant surgery 4 weeks ago. When I pump the device, it does not make my penis rock solid, I would say 80% hard. Is this normal? Any solutions?

Welcome to the forum.
Yes. It is normal at 4 weeks. Just keep on cycling till the pump gets very hard to squeeze. How long have you been cycling?

To be cycling at 4 weeks already is way ahead of many. It hurt me to inflate even at 3 months out. Once the pump and cylinders have time to soften up a bit, and your soreness goes down, inflating should be much easier and give you a solid erection. My Titan gets solid like a wooden peg.

Mickey,

I think you are doing fine, I am only slightly ahead of you and I think I know what you mean. I have had the same sort of sensations, but at the max hardness I am able to obtain seems to be perfect for blow jobs and PIV sex, so I don't see any problem. If the implant never got harder, I wouldn't worry about it, because my wife says, "It's perfect." What more do I need?

I do notice a "softening" of the implant and the pump; I seem to be hanging a bit more down and the pump is definitely getting easier to use. I do try to pump to max each time and I know I get more pumps in now than I used to, so I think everything is just breaking in with use.

Just enjoy it!

If you started on Tuesday, then you should expect the max hardness 1 to 2 months from now. You need to follow your doctor's cycling instructions. Most of surgeons recommend twice a day, 30 mins each. Maybe after 6 months you can do once a day if you don't have the time.

Give it some more time. Inflate 20 minutes and manipulate your penis then try pumping a few more pumps. it will get firmer and more comfortable.
