Any experience with Western MI Urological Associates?

Postby jmart3664 » Thu Oct 27, 2022 9:44 pm

Hi All,

i'm new to this sight and have been reading and learning from you all for the past 4 months.

Does anyone have experience with DR, Toby Lees? He works with John Ludlow out of Western MI Urological Ass. In Holland, MI. I think I am to the point of needing an Implant.

I know John Ludlow is highly recommended but is retiring.

Thanks all for sharing your experiences

I live in Mich -- over on the west coast I have only heard mention of Ludlow. Is he still doing implants but you are concerned that he won't be around if you need follow up support ,or is he done?

I might also suggest ,if it is feasible for you ,to go around the lake to see Levine?

When I made the appointment I asked for DR Ludlow and was told he is retiring at the end of the year.

They told me DR Lees does as many implant as DR Ludlow.

My Insurance only covers in network MI DRs. I might try and change Insurance at the beginning of the year but don't know if that is a good idea for getting covered. I can't afford 20,000 out of pocket. If the insurance covers it it will be 7,500

The insurance I have now says it covers prosthetics but don't know for sure. BCN HMO

My appt is November 10th Ill find out more.
