Going Bionic Monday 10.24.22

Postby BP1024 » Fri Oct 21, 2022 11:24 am

I am 59 years old scheduled for surgery Monday morning with Dr Carrion in Tampa. Titan

ED for last 15 years pills, injections, pumps nothing works very well at all anymore. Have been somewhat depressed and physically lazy seems related

I am about 2.5-3 inches flaccid 5.7 long erect and 5 girth

Been single 17 years in a couple relationships since getting divorced in 2005. I am looking forward to more consistent performance I have really struggled to deal with this the last few years especially

I am concerned about the recovery. Not so much the pain but I am very independent and not used to relying on other people to care for me. Also concerned as I dont have much to work with to start with and am worried like everyone about size loss and adapting etc. This forum has been super helpful and I will try to keep a log of what is happening in hopes it may help someone else. attached some pics of pre op

Hi there BP,

Congratulations on making your decision to have the implant and you have a top-notch surgeon lined up, you should worry no more. All of us who have been through ED then decided to go for the implant have gone through all the same "what if" scenarios. Stop worrying about it. Don't freak out the first time you see your dick unwrapped; you will be very swollen in the pubic area which makes you dick look smaller than it is.

You can't really change what mother nature gave you as far as size, but you will be relieved to know you will never have a flaccid like you show above because the cylinders do not expand and contract much in length. Your stretched out length you show in the photo will be approximately the length of your new flaccid, plus it is difficult to get all the fluid out when you deflate so you will be walking around with a chubby all the time which will be restrained by your undershorts. You will be walking around with a package you have never had before, and this gives confidence to any man. Just like you have more feeling when you are hard, you will have more feeling with that chubby in your pants and you will be more aware of your dick than you have ever been. This is all positive, so stop worrying about it.

I lost about 3/8" when implanted, but it feels like I have a larger dick in my pants. I will take a 3/8" shorter dick to one which I can't use any day of the week. Your dick will never depress you again. Most gain back their lost length in the first 6 to 8 months with cycling.

Don't worry about the recovery either, you will need someone to drive you home because of the drugs, but once home you won't need any extra care, many single guys on FT have done it alone, one guy even flew to California from Japan and back after the surgery all by himself. My doctor said it was an outpatient procedure, but I elected to spend the night in the hospital which turned out to be a good decision because the first night I had a catheter and a drain which was emptied several times during the night. I also had nurses checking in on me willing to give me more pain meds if I needed them. I highly recommend the overnight stay in the hospital if your insurance covers it, if it doesn't you will be just fine. Just have plenty of food in the house because you won't feel like going out for a week or two.

Best of luck!

I completely agree with above. I was a turtle dick before my implant also, less then an inch flaccid. Now I'm 4.5" flaccid, LOVE THAT! I am still 5.5" erect, same as before the implant. You will love your new package, and be proud to be seen nude. Best of luck and if you have ANY questions or would like to see some before and after pictures, please PM me, happy to share.

Congratulations on making the big decision! I tried pills and shots for years and had some success, but going with the implant has been a great decision. I had the Titan put in. You’re gonna end up having a hard time trying to conceal when you’re flaccid. With the Titan, your flaccid size isn’t much smaller than your erect l size. I was always a grower, and when I had the titan I became a shower. I’m not gonna lie, but it added a ton of confidence, especially being able to perform whenever I wanted to and for as long as I wanted to. Long story short, I had the titan but it became infected so they had to remove it and install a malleable unit until I can go back in for another titan. Overall, I only lost a little size and a little girth but I’m confident I would’ve gotten it back if I would’ve had the time to cycle it. With a malleable, I’m definitely a little bit shorter, but I know that’s temporary until I get another titan put in.

I’m not sure how I got the infection because I didn’t present for over two weeks after the surgery but I am 100% sure that I overdid it right after the surgery because I felt fine! Very little pain and I just had to get used to my new large flaccid penis. I’m sure my lack of relaxation played into it a bit , but I don’t think I’ll ever know for sure why I became infected.

My best advice for you for quick recovery is let people help you out, don’t lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk. Find some things to watch on Netflix or Amazon. Use a lot of ice, and don’t rush things.

I had to have two surgeries in less than a month and now I’m facing a third one because I didn’t know how to relax. The best of luck to you. Don’t worry about the size. It doesn’t matter what size you are if it ain’t working. I promise you as soon as you’re healed up you’re gonna walk around with a ton more confidence and your casual dating will turn into a more consistent thing. Imagine knowing you’re like the energizer bunny, always ready and you keep going and going…

thank you guys! yes I am looking forward to having more confidence in my ability to perform and as I said this board is really great for something like this because it is giving me the confidence to give this a shot. I will try to post some updates over the next few weeks as that also seems to be something many people are curious about the previous posts on that have certainly helped give me confidence that I can get through it. thanks again

Congratulations in advance on your surgery.

If your doctor is like mine, you will stay in the hospital for one night after your surgery. You will need someone to drive you home.

Can you do curbside pickup of items at a store with a pharmacy? If so, you may want to do that for meds. I also needed extra gauze for padding between my dick and my jock strap.

The biggest restriction for me was lifting things. My doctor's orders were not to lift anything over five pounds for the first two weeks. So, you may need some help there.

I was a grower, but now I'm a shower, which I like. I didn't lose any size.

Hopefully all goes well and you'll be test driving your new dick with a new lady soon. 8-)
