Just checking in and now 15 months post op 2nd implant. My first surgery was 1/2/20. My coloplast Titan pump fractured 2/21. I had a new implant 4/22. Just did some research my first implant was listed on the fda class 2 recall 10/20. My serial number was listed with many others. The reason pump fracture. My implant failed because of pump fracture. I have the Titan genesis pump. That the one that was recalled. Btw, I was never notified of the recall. I found it on my own. Got my op report. The serial numbers are clearly listed. Coloplast did not honor the warranty. They said they did not know I had a revision.
Hope all is well, don’t check in much. But current implant is fine. All works as it should.

Re: Recall Titan Pump issues
I "broke" my Titan pump in November 2021. Dr Perito said there had been some problems with the pump and replaced it with a d
"different" pump. Good luck man!

I think that your pump failure & Coloplast's reaction should be reported to the FDA in writing. I would think that they keep a file of the data reported on recalled medical devices. Your experience should be important to them.
Please let them know. Good luck with this one.

How did you manage with a broken pump for a year and 2 months?
