10 weeks in

Postby Mr Timex » Thu Oct 13, 2022 10:18 am

A few weeks ago my wife and I attempted intercourse and she has been in pain ever since. While I had been focusing on reviving our love life and did use KY, she was apparently not prepared.
Our experimentation came to an end but will hopefully resume.
I saw my surgeon this week and commented on how small my erections are compared to my past. There is plenty of skin that is not filling up. He said that at least half of my tubing is in my scrotum rather than my penis.
I’m considering visiting another urologist to see if changes could be made but will wait till we find out we can resume sexual activity.

Timex, you don't give yours or your wifes age. So I'll give a broad answer. If your wife has passed menopause, had a hysterectomy, or a hysterectomy with 1 or even 2 ovaries removed. She is most likely suffering from vaginal atrophy due to the insufficient levels of female hormones. Principally estrogen but she might need very small amounts of testosterone also. The risk increases the farther down my list that she is.
The skin inside her vagina can become thin thus become susceptible to tearing. The quickest way to get a halt put to your implant usage if for your wife to suffer vaginal injuries. These injuries can happen even with the use of lube. But lube will help at least some.
Get her to an urologist, gynecologist or perhaps even a quality general practitioner asap. Many times a topical cream contain minute amounts of estrogen applied to her external genital area is enough. Don't rule out pills unless her doctor says they aren't suitable for her. Then she'll need the cream. Perhaps for life but at least for the foreseeable future. Maybe she might be able to taper off of the cream down the road.

You're ten weeks in. When I was there I sometimes measured at two inches smaller than where I am now. Give it time. You've got a lot of it.

I’m 72 and she is 79. She is now seeing a gynecologist and gynourologist. She will be having a biopsy in a few weeks.
