First questions...

Postby Frank Talk Admin » Mon Sep 13, 2010 10:09 am

Guys,
I'm trying to put together a list of the first questions that come into men's minds as they first think or hear about an implant.
Can people see it?
Does the surgery hurt?
Does it feel the same?
Can I still orgasm/ejaculate?

Are these accurate? These seem to be the questions I get. Any other thoughts at the first level of thinking about getting an implant?
thanks
Paul

Can it make me bigger?
How fast can I go from 0 to 60?
Can I leave it partially inflated just to look bigger when flaccid?

Paul

These are good first questions. I believe those of us that have an implant need to post the answers also.

We also need to include cautions like, How many implants does the doctor do a year. Infection rate of the doctor and the hospital. Also the best doctors to do implants are Male Sexual Function Specialist and not General Practice Urologist. About 10 doctors in the US do over 80% of the implants, and just because the doctor has been to a forum and gets his name posted on a implant company web site does not mean he is proficent at the procedure.

I still have my list of 16 questions after my failed implant by the "best urologist" in my area. I will get it out in the next few days and post it with the answers.

Thanks guys, those are a great start. These questions are the very first response by a man who has never heard of an implant (most have not). This is not even thinking about surgery. A guy just wants to know what it's like. Please feel free to help answer the questions. We keep it short, simple, not technicalities. Further exploration by a guy is when we add details.

Can people see it? The implant does not show on the outside. The entire mechanism is inside your body. Nobody can see that you have an implant. Hang out naked in the locker room. Your penis will look the same. No one will ever know.

Does the surgery hurt? Virtually every guy I've talked to was surprised at the low pain level. Yes, things will be uncomfortable and sore for a few days, but nothing that drugs can't handle. There is some impressive discoloration due to blood under the skin. It looks worse than it is.

Does it feel the same? Yes. All sensation in the shaft and head of the penis is unchanged. It stills feel great to masturbate and have intercourse.

Can I still orgasm/ejaculate? All natural function remains the same. You still ejaculate - and father children. You still orgasm. Almost all men will tell you it feels and functions in a completely natural/normal fashion.

Will my partner know? We do not advise keeping it a secret. Most people love a man with a bionic penis. If they play with your scrotum, they will notice a third ball in the sac. When you are having penile fun, however, no one would know. Perhaps during oral sex, someone might notice the glans is not as engorged, but intercourse will feel the same for your partner.

Will I be able to feel it inside me? It does take time for your penis and scrotum to adjust. The first weeks will be a transition time. But after a few months, you will not feel it inside you.

Will it make me smaller or bigger? The goal of every surgeon is to do neither. It is NOT a penis enlargement surgery. An oversized implant could do a lot of harm. A good doctor will make a good match.
