LGX Improved

Postby fullmonte » Wed Sep 28, 2022 5:21 pm

Has AMS made any improvements on the LGX 700, older models had inherent problem with cylinder failure based on this forum. Articles suggest its advantages were it's ability to recover length over time and compensate for when the surgeon wasn't aggressive in sizing. I'm scheduling a revision soon and would appreciate any input, my Titan was undersized which resulted in floppy head and the LGX may have compensated for that and avoided the need for this revision.

Hey Fullmonte,
I don't think LGX would correct the problem if you are undersized. No implant model would.
If your doctor undersized you, change the doctor rather than switching to another implant with the same doctor. A lot of people here have LGX, CX, and Titan, with no problems whatsoever. Most of the issues come from unexperienced doctors, and a tiny percent from mechanical failures.
