Did anyone here who worked the pills only at high dosages chose to have the implant? it would have been better to wait to do it or was it better to do it, I understand it is an implant forum, but someone who has been through this will remember if it would have been better to wait, I hope I was able to explain myself and that the google translator does not betray me :D

I was taking double the max approved dose of Cialis. I could sometimes get hard but taking such a high dose of cialis, I had a number of times where my blood pressure was so low, I was passing out.

I highly reccommend not using more than the maximum allowed amount of any pill.

Do your research, speak with a urologist and evaluate is an implant the correct option for you.

thanks florida, here they are all banned and uninformed about the implants, each one pulls the water at his mill or are totally incapable, I am followed by an andrologist urologist, who specializes in replacement testosterone, he told me if you come to me I tell you do not do the implant and take the testosterone that you are low, then he gave me the dhea, now he gave me the proviron (mesterolone) now I'm doing very well but always in doses one and a half times, but the mesterolone gives me annoyance, I feel its side effects a lot, but sexually I'm doing very well, then he said if you go to Antonini, implantologist (he learned for years from paul perito in miami) he tells you to do the implant, in fact I went to Antonini, I said that the drugs work poorly and he immediately said you need an implant, there is no one who has an interest in treating the patient in the best way, they all think about their backyard, now I find that the high dosage pills one and a half times they work fine , but if I don't take mesterolone too they work, but not very well, I find myself in a situation that there is no doctor who does my health interest, only their interest

Having the appropriate testosterone level is key. Even with an implant I still now get testosterone replacement.

If you have a true ED problem such as a venous leak, increasing your t levels won't have an effect.

If pills are working stick with it, if not, move to Trimix once that fails, then look at an implant.

As a consumer you are responsible for your own health. Take guidance from physicians but ultimately you need to decide what is best for your body.

The side effects of Viagra at the max dose stopped me from taking more. I'd get bad migraines the next day. On top of that it got to the point that even a high dose did nothing. Went to injections next, A couple of years and those stopped working. If it's venous leak, it doesn't get better, those drugs just band-aid the problem for a while. I wish I knew about implants before the first Viagra went in my mouth because I would have skipped right to that.

I do not want to do the injections, I have an established venous loss, but how come now with mesterolone it works very well, but always with a dose and a half, damn it if it didn't work it would be easier

This is a big question that I see on this forum that's not clearly answered?

Would you skip/wait if other methods still worked reasonably well?

I might have skipped the pills--they were never reliable...but bi-mix was great!!

I used pills with great results from the time they entered the market (1997?) till 2017. The last several years, I required higher doses with greatly diminished results. I ended up experiencing a series of TIA mini-strokes as a direct result of Viagra/Cialis.My neurologist confirmed that while rare, he had seen this before. If I'd only known just how incredibly awesome this Titan is, I would have gotten it sooner and saved myself some major headaches...literally!

Remember this, the higher dose of pills will stop working just like the lower doses quit working. In my opinion, once pills start to be less effective. You can't stop that process from continuing. It may even accelerate.
Basically this is the sign that you've reached the end of your journey. So its either injections, an implant or celibacy. I would suggest to you that reaching this understanding is why so many men say they should of gotten the implant sooner. They look back at all the turmoil that they suffered before the implant. Understanding these facts would of helped them avoid all that turmoil. Plus they think of all the sex that they missed out on without the implant.

Definitely I would have skipped right to an implant if I had known they were possible when my ED started. The 12-13 years it affected me made me depressed, get nasty with my wife and overall, in a bad mood most of the time. With pills it was always do I take one tonight, or not? When the pills began to fail, I got even more depressed.
Went to injections next. I wouldn't stick a needle in my dick, so I was given an auto-injector. Injections began to fail in a couple years making me really deeply depressed thinking my sex life was dead. I went back to nasty, mean me.
Both methods required scheduling sex which really numbed the mood anyway.
When I saw an article from a surgeon who did penile implants, I searched for a urologist in my area who did them. I wish that I would have found Frank Talk then, but all I knew is that an implant would allow me erections again. I went into the surgery blind, let the surgeon make all the decisions.
Now at near three years implanted, it has been the best thing I ever did for us. My recovery was tough, but I'd go through it again if I had to.
