Difficulty Deflating Titan One Touch

Postby Tokyo_123 » Sun Sep 18, 2022 2:36 am

I'm over six weeks, and still have difficulty deflating the One Touch. Tough to find the deflate button. Tough to squeeze out the fluid. Usually I wake up with a full hard on. Only thing that has gotten me by is my Separatecs, jock strap, and a waist fanny pack to hide the bulge. I've not been able to soak in the hot tub since there is still a small hole and have not gotten the doctor's OK to do so. Hopefully I will get that OK next week (finger's crossed).

Last week I canceled a dentist appointment since I do not want to sit in dentist chair with a pup-tent in my pants.

Any advice? Should I be worried?

You still have edema in your sac. You may not think so, but you have some, and any degree of swelling in there is going to complicate inflation and/or deflation. Examples galore on FT. My own experiences with this were extremely confusing and frustrating at exactly the same timeframe, weeks 4-8. But you have got to fight through and get comfortable and competent with both inflate and deflate and the sooner the better. I say this as a guy who kept driving back to his surgeon's office because I also could not figure it out. Hand-on learning experiences in office followed, and helped immeasurably with accelerating my learning curve.

I can't say I recommend what you seem to be describing - waking up with a full hardon. If you are saying that you are inflating, then falling asleep overnight fully inflated, that's not good. Especially in the early going. The capsule formation and function where your reservoir is placed - your body needs to learn and heal around a filled reservoir. It's quite important to return the saline into the reservoir regularly, more often than not, so that reservoir's size resists against your tissue and an appropriate volume of space in your body develops to accommodate. If you don't do this, you may find later that the reservoir functionally will not allow all the fluid to be returned into it, meaning more of it remains in your dick. If that happens, you are going to have a semi constantly and not be able to do anything about it if the reservoir learns to resist you. Also, there is a thing called capsular contraction which can develop and, in some cases, leads to your dick "auto inflating", which seems more than mildly alarming.

I advise you to be blunt with your surgeon/staff about your difficulties and get the most hands-on tutorial possible in their office and don't leave there until you have successfully inflated max, and deflated completely several times on your own under their watchful eyes.

To be clear, I would deflate as best as I can at night. However, by morning, it would usually be mostly inflated. Deflation, still as best I can is still not that deflated. Something is definitely wrong, either with the unit itself or user error (which is more likely).

Just yesterday I inflated the unit, and thought it was fully inflated. Then I waited (watching TV) for two hours. Then after was able to inflate further.

The Titan is a tough one to deflate. I had to go back to my doc twice to get deflated after inflating and unable to find that button. It is just a small bump on one side of the block above the bulb. You have to hold the button down while squeezing your shaft, it can take 30-45 seconds to get all the saline out. I like to wrap a layer of towel over my shaft to make it easier. Once you get as much saline drained as possible, pump the bulb once or twice to lock it. That will prevent auto-inflation like you are experiencing.

Stupid question probably, but did your doc give you a Titan model? I found mine to be tremendously helpful

My one touch has to be held on both sides and cluck the button to release. Once deflated squeeze the pump two short little pumps to lock the valve. This will keep fluid from flowing back into the cylinders. It’s not uncommon to be pumped full and then sometime later get another pump in. The cylinders do stretch and expand a little more. I think that Stops after having it a couple years.

This I did not know. Tell ya, last night thought I was deflated. Yet morning woke up with near full hard on. Looking forward to trying this.

So, the Jock strap is not preventing you for a pup-tent?

I'm now able to deflate better. That said, at present I do not feel comfortable seeing dentist just yet.

I'm glad you can deflate better now. I don't understand if you can hide a pup-tent with a jockstrap why should you avoid the dentist?
