Excellent thread about everyone's experience. It took me a day and a half to read because I didn't want to miss a word.

I'm on my journey also and hope to have my implant around early March. I had to delay my surgery because of family coming to visit. But I've been using the VED pump for a month a seems like I've gained some size so I should have 3 months of using it everyday for 5-15 minutes. We'll see what happens.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences and giving me the encouragement to take this big step forward.

4 MONTH UPDATE

17 weeks since my implant on 9/20/2022. Since then, everything has progressed so quickly. I’ve had sex with around 6 women since being implanted and not one has said or noticed anything. I say this because I get this question a lot, and I asked the same question before my implant as well. If you want to be discreet about it, just pump it before or ¾ and then sneak in some more as things progress. However, if you are in a relationship with some, I highly advise you to just be honest, as there’s nothing to be ashamed of. I am proud of how well I perform and how things work since being implanted. In my opinion, the entire world doesn’t need to know, but if you are with someone, just be honest.


Pros of the implant

- All confidence is back in the bedroom and with my abilities to perform.
- Confidence has increased significantly outside of the bedroom as well. Socially, professionally, etc.
- I am much happier with life overall. I have been told I am very fun and energetic to be around.
- Very high libido, when before it was non-existent.
- No more anxiety when it relates to sex or simply just freaking out about the thought of being intimate with a woman.
- Simply just feeling like me again.
- Shower and not just a grower


Cons of the implant

- The flaccid state isn’t like it used to be. Obviously with the tubing, things are more rigid. My penis now hangs down normally, but it hangs slightly to the left (which it did prior to implant) and the top right of the base of my penis right where the shaft begins shows a slight dog ear, which I am probably the only one who notices. When showering with guys at work or the hockey rink, I feel slightly off thinking they might think I have a chub, but I now believe I was overthinking that. The constant pushing my penis to the left from my work pants that are tighter has caused it to really hang to the left on its own now. I was concerned this would possibly cause wear and tear on the one side of the cylinder as I have said in previous updates, but my doctors told me that it wouldn’t cause any.

- my head/glans are slightly softer and floppy during sex, however, this was significantly improved with a small dose prescription of cialis pill 5mg daily. This has helped bring more blood flow to the glans and also even help with sensitivity, even though it felt great prior to cialis.

- Tighter pants in the crotch area aren’t as giving anymore because of the stiffer flaccid state.

- Having to get more revisions in the future, which I will happily do, even with how tough my first 3 weeks of recovery were.


As you can see, the cons are very minimal, and I am overall pleased and thankful for this implant. I think it is the best thing I have done in life thus far. As far as having the greatest impact on my life overall, I would say it is.

I am the 78 year old mentioned in the Subject of this thread, as a quick review Minnesoata#2 and I had our surgery on the exact same day and very close the same hour, we both got the Titan and the classic pump.

I had gained so much knowledge from this site and it has so dramatically changed my life I wanted to pay back; after my surgery when I wanted to start posting about my surgery and recovery I found Minnesota#2 was experiencing the same things, so rather than develop my own thread I decided to place comments into this thread, the only difference is our ages. I am 51 years older than he is, but we discovered we were more the same than different when it came to sex.

I think this is an important thread in that members of all ages can benefit from it.

The bottom line is that if you need an implant to continue your sex life it doesn't matter if you 18 or 8

8, get the implant. Getting an implant is usually your last choice, but it is often also your best choice.

My recovery was unremarkable, there were no surprises thanks to FT, and the function is exactly what I expected. It works great and my wife loves it as well. Minnesota#2 has much more variety in his use, but I am using mine much more than he is, that's the benefit of being married or having a life partner, but that is personal choice. At 78 I get to use it at least twice a week and I wouldn't give this implant back for anything.

The only change I have noticed between injections and the implant is, like Minnesota#2 mentioned, my glans isn't totally engorged as it was with injecting. My doctor says it will improve with time and it is, it is not close to being a floppy head, it just isn't that throbbing fulness of the past. During intercourse it is not a problem at all, maybe a little on first insertion, but once in it feels the same. Because of this, blow jobs feel a little different, but that too is improving, in fact this morning was the first time my wife was able to take me to completion...I told you it is getting better!

I will leave you with this, if getting an implant is the only way for you to get an erection, then don't let your age affect your decision, get the implant.

10 MONTH UPDATE

Approximately 42 weeks and just 11 days or so short of 10 months since my titan implant on 9/20/2022. Life has went on per usual, but the major difference is that my dick not working isn’t in the back of my mind 24/7. Just living life with that all in the past and no longer have to worry about it anymore. The only thing I really have to do is before showering at work or in the locker room with guys, is make sure I’m completely deflated. If I don’t it looks like I have a chub. But I’ve had buddies mess around calling me hung and stuff. Never was I before. So I’d say that’s more of a pro than a con!

As far as life after the implant, it’s night and day. It’s allowed me to get past that mental challenge that was constantly in my way. This implant not only changes your sex life but your every day life as well. Your relationships, confidence, professional life all take a turn in the right direction after.

Almost 1 year, and so far so good!
