Hello everyone. So, my naive mind thought that when I'll get implanted due to my VL deterioration, all my problems will go away, I really haven't seen any cons of being implanted except for not having spontaneous erections. But I missed the fact that if I'm not able to keep my glans hard enough now, implant won't fix it. It is a very big concern and disappointment for me, cause now I'm on that stage of VL, when primarily only my glans is being affected by leakage of blood (mostly in laying position). The shaft is still +/- okay, but I can't imagine a good sex with the glans being that engorged - sensations are much better when it is 90-100% filled, which happens when I'm sitting or standing (I'm on daily 5 mg tadalafil). So there are the questions:
How badly did your sensations during sex worsen?
Can implant affect the leakage the way it can get better with it so I won't need any additional stuff such as viagra or cock ring?
If you don't use any additional help to engorge your glans, isn't it hard to penetrate with a soft glans?
Are there any ejaculation problems?

Re: Glans engorgement with implant
I have venous leak, this caused soft glans.
I have an implant, this did nothing to solve the soft glans issue, of course.
I use elastic bands as a cock ring, I place them after inflation of implant.
This gives me a firm full glans, and shaft to boot.
This will work for you too. It will take trial and error.
It's night and day though.

For me, a dose of Sildenafil and a cock ring (which Dr approved using) works well enough. Not like the olden days, but I'll take it!

Have you tried sex without bands? Does it feel way worse?
It looks like I can't hope for a spontaneous sex anyway without my partner knowing I have problems. It's terrible

Everybody's got problems man. I think that is the first step towards recognizing that you will be ok and still have a great life and sex life

Yeah, thinking cold, I do overreact about all this situation, but it's really hard to accept all these things going on when you are just 21. A lot of regrets hit instantly, thoughts that I didn't embody all my desires and possibilities when I was healthy. It brings a huge lesson about life, bit still, it's enormously heavy to me right now. Although I know I'm not the only young man having this kind of problems here, but I'm just scared that I won't handle it, won't find love, won't be able to be a full value man and also that this will be my burden and eternal depressing factor

Please be aware that in the dating world. Not many women see depression as a positive trait in a future mate. Don't forget to work of the state of your mind if you want a long term partner.
Standard disclaimers apply. I'm not a doctor, I don't play one on television. YMMV, I might be totally wrong. Carefull about living in the past. Good luck to you.

Re: Glans engorgement with implant
I haven't used it yet. But it would be terrible without the ring. So I'll have to use one, which will be weird for me.
I'm still very self conscious of it all. I fear rejection, which I've had due to ed before, this was a long term relationship too.
I'm not sure I would be able to handle it again.
I too have had my life ruined by this.
The sexual market place is ruthless, women will drop you readily if you can't perform (even the seemingly nice girls) . So we must ensure that we get the job done well.

Re: Glans engorgement with implant
why so many guys who don't get their glans engorged after implantation? yet they say that the glans has a separate erection, which does not affect the erection of the shaft and the implant

I still believe that there are a lot of girls who don't place sex life on the first place. Anyway, it's a very important part of relationship still, but firstly, there are other ways to bring a pleasure and secondly there are a lot of asexual girls or girls, as I said, who don't see sex as something that special. I hope that true and warm relationship shouldn't base on sex.
Btw, is it okay to use ring before implantation? As I said, I have a problem mostly with my glans, so should I try it? Or can it bring some deterioration to vein condition?
