Travel Insurance Declaration

Any thoughts on declaring the implant on travel insurance as a “pre existing” condition? Not something I really want to do - but wondering what the position would be say if I develop an infection abroad

Great question. Though I don't suspect you would treat IPP as anything different. Merely state that you have an implant. They are HIGHLY unlikely to ask where/for what. You should have a pocket card (I keep mine scanned on my phone) in the event anyone needs to review.

Is it normal to declare other medical items in our bodies? My mind goes to joints, stents, pace makers. Even root canals might fit.
Can they be that detailed?
