Hi everyone.
I underwent surgery 4 days ago and everything was going well.
They used glue with stitches to treat my surgical wound.
Today i accidentally removed a piece of glue. As a consequence i moved now i have a little portion of alive skin which is exposed and a stitch that doesn't seem to be stable as It is supposed to be.
I've immediately contacted my surgeon. He didn't seem to be that worried. He is abroad and i cannot reach him right now, so tomorrow i'll be checked by my local uro anyway.
I'm worried as hell since now i fear an infection.
Any thoughts guy? I feel hopeless.

I accidently dislodged some glue a few days after surgery.
I exposed the stitches, was very worried about the flap that opened.
Contacted my surgeon with pictures, he told me that it was, 'no big deal', that it would heal.
It did, it was fine.
I reacted like you.
They know their stuff these guys.
You'll be fine. Just keep an eye out for signs of infection.
Send you're surgeon a photo if you haven't already.

I don't know how to express my gratitude towards you.
Tomorrow i'll be checked by my local uro who, by the way, is a surgeon, even if not a high volume one. But you made my day.
Thanks again.

Could try getting a waterproof regular bandage and then covering it with the flexible medical tape. It certainly would provide a pretty good seal for it. Had a mole removed on my scrotum in the past and that’s what they used.

I used Band-Aid Antiseptic Spray...
don't need to disturb the stitches and it keeps it clean
and is an analgesic as well...helps w pain.

How come nobody is suggesting to use "liquid bandaid". Works very similar to what is already there.

I had a worse situation than you did. Everything was fine and healed. Just keep it clean and don't put and stress on the wound. I understand your fear. Scared the crap out of me too
