Who is the Eid of performing hernia surgery on patients with an implant? I’ve seen posts here where the implant stopped working after surgery..

Implanted April 9th 2021(age 55) by Dr. Eid w/ 24 cm Titan
Activated Day 3; minimal swelling and discomfort for 3-4 weeks
Preop injection size: 17 cms length (slight press) & 15 1/2 cm girth
Post up w/max inflation: 17 cm length 14 cm girth

I had a hernia surgery 6 months after my IPP. It was at the same university hospital as the IPP. I told the surgeon to step over to urology and talk to my IPP surgeon before she operated on my hernia. Everything came out fine. Hernia was on left side , reservoir is on the right side. She was prepared to repair the right side also , but only if it needed repair.

I have to do a surgery to fix my inguinal hernia. Fortunately it's on the opposite side of my reservoir. I have to schedule the surgery with a doctor in my country (Italy). I showed him an email from doctor Eid that suggested what to be careful about and what exams to do before the surgery and he looked very careful about his instructions.
For now I'm still living with it because I have just a minimal discomfort but I know I will have to do the surgery sooner or later also because I'm very active and I'm an avid cyclist.

32yo, VL from birth. Implanted in 2020 with AMS CX by Gabriele Antonini. Pump stopped working after three months,replaced with new pump that stopped working again. Complete revision Titan Touch 24+1 implanted by Dr.Eid. Titan failed in October 2023.

I had hernia surgery 6 mo. before my IPP on the same side as the IPP reservoir would go in. No issues
56, ED 10-15 years. Pills, Bi, Tri then Quad Mix Injections- all slowly less effective. IPP July 2022 (Penscrotal, Titan, 22 + 1) @6mo back to OEM--7.2"L x 5.5"w
