Titan OTR

Postby 4vfr20 » Tue Oct 02, 2012 12:37 pm

I would like to chat with a gentleman who underwent a Titan OTR implant surgery. It is my first time I am using this site and I am a little bit lost.

Sorry that you must be here, but welcome to the brotherhood. I had open surgery for prostate cancer in 2010 when I was 67 years old. I had an excellent recovery and have not had second thoughts about my decision, even when it robbed me of much of my manhood. I am alive and healthy. In Jan 2012 I had a Titan OTR implant by the same small town local surgeon who did my other surgery. Again I had an excellent recovery and have not had any second thoughts. God has truely blessed me, and I consider myself a better man after going through this phase of my life. I will be glad to try to answer any questions that I can. Leave me a message.

I'm 78 years old, still very active and ready for lots more life. I had my Coloplast Titan OTR implant on August 6th, just 10 weeks ago. Yesterday was the first time to be able to enjoy sexual bonding with my wife in over 16 months...AND IT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD GREAT!!! Don't wait any longer for your implant...it's a relatively easy procedure and one that will pay you huge benefits for many, many years to come. Contact me if there's anything I can help you with....this forum has given me more REAL info than anything else...use it to your full advantage. JOE/Buckshot :D

I am 7 months post-op with a Titan OTR and am very pleased. If you search this forum, using the search function, and search on "Titan" or "OTR" you will find lots of comments and experiences. You can try "Titan OTR" over at the yahoo penile implant group as well.

I had a Titan OTR implanted four months ago at age 60 and I would be more than happy to share my experience and/or answer any questions you may have. While I am generally pleased with the outcome, I can honestly say that there are aspects to this procedure that I wasn't totally prepared for, even after months of reserach and helpful input from physicians and fellow patients alike. You can never have too much information.

I'd be interested in hearing what those aspects were. I've got surgery on 10/12/12 (Titan OTR) and am getting a little nervous :?

Dusty, It would be great if you could discuss those issues here. Do your concerns apply to the OTR or the surgery in general?
Thanks, Buck

Dennov, I am three days ahead of you and I am nervous too. It comes in waves-hope to talk to surgeon Friday to ask all of my unanswered questions. I will post more after that! Jim

I underwent the Coloplast Titan Penile Implant Procedure in December 2007 after developing ED Post-Prostatectomy
in 2004. The Titan completely corrected my ED and restored both my sex life and the emotional intimacy with my wife of
45 years. I would be happy to share my Pre-Implant vs Post-Implant experiences.

Ditto to what Bob said...I'd be glad to share my experience with you. Everything has worked out great and I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. It's the only real SOLUTION to this very frustrating problem that so many of us have been through. 8-)
