Cycling advice

Postby texasgardener » Sun Jul 24, 2022 11:47 pm

Hi, all. I am 7 weeks post-op and need some cycling advice. I want to maximize length and girth gains and want to know how long and frequent I should cycle for. When I pump to full, the tip of my penis hurts a lot and so after 30 minutes I am dying to deflate but don’t want to deflate too soon.

Also, when did you all start seeing gains once you started seriously cycling? I have admittedly only been doing it for a week and maybe have 1/16 inch gain but I do feel like I have had some visible girth gains.

Thanks!
Implanted 8 June 2022. Peyronie's disease and ED. Dr. LeRoy Jones. AMS 700 CX, 21 CM + 2 CM RTEs.

The answer for now is to follow your doctors instructions for cycling protocol. Doctors and men vary a lot and some men need some or a lot of extra work during surgery. Your doctor opened you up and knows the most about you. And some doctors are better or not as great as others. So follow your doctors instructions to the letter for now. You can ask your doctor about aggressive cycling or VED use with cycling. And a well know Florida doctor has a thing called the exercise. You can look those up with a search on this site if you like but I would not do anything unless my doctor was on board with it. After you are fully healed at 3 months or so post op and released from you doctor then you can decide if you want to roll the dice and try one or more of these extra cycling work.

If your doctor does not have a protocol for you to use I know there is an example in the AMS 700 Implant DVD. If you have that device you may have a copy of that DVD in your packet. If not it is on line here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwp0YfSLxIU

But again your doctor should be the one that directs you on this. As they know more about you and the level of skill they have. Could be a reason for not doing one or all of those. You sure don't want to cause damage and risk an infection. Follow the protocol for you and not someone else.

I had gains out past a year with my LGX and the most gains in the first several months after surgery. When I first had sex with a partner I was about an inch shorter than I am now. I told her it would increase in size over time but she was having a lot of fun with it and did not seem to care. I had told her about it and she was so happy about the fact that it was hard and would stay that way no matter what and for as long as it needed to be.

Good luck and welcome to the brotherhood.

Cycling might feel uncomfortable but SHOULD NOT feel painful. I was cycling 15/20 mins about 3 times a day by week three and using my bionic bone by week 5 (uncomfortable, but not painful). After 8 weeks - ZERO discomfort.

I've gained girth (fuller erection) - but haven't noted any loss of length.

For the first few months, when I max inflated there was significant pain in my glans caused by the cylinder tips. I did manage to cycle an hour, twice a day for the first year, but I'm doing it less often now. Over time, the pain gradually lessened, and now doesn't hurt at all.
